Game abandoned towards the end of the first half after the charleville keeper landed on his neck going up for a ball. Ambulance called.

On behalf of all the Kilmallcok lads we wish the goalie from Wembley a speedy recovery. He's been around a while now and is well known and liked Best wishes form us anyway Hope to see you in Kilmallock in a couple of weeks time!
Yesterday was our Acid test. We were missing four def starters could argue 5 but the lads that came in did an outstanding job ,we out-battled Weston throughout and deserved our win. They were without doubt the best team we have played yet and will go all the way this season a very powerful team.Croker up front was a real handful but i reckon he is fairly sore today!!So its charleville next another big game!!!

Caherdavin 2- 3 Wembley Rovers(ye've been leaking a lot of late)
Ya we have been leaking quiet a few goals alright, thats why i'm going for a draw. Wembley seem to be a handy side too. Last season our problem was scoring goals, this season its the defending which is killing us at the moment. We have conceeded more goals so far this season than we did the whole of last season. I know we can be stronger in defense so hopefully that will come together for us.
Well Baalbec will knockainey win 3.1 or 1.0 you only get one chance:confused:
Knock 1 Granville 3
cappa 2 summerville 1
weston 3 pats 1
star 1 coonagh 2
charleville 0 kilmallock 4
Coonagh seem to be playing better lately so i think they may get their first win, Charleville are poor at the back so i think ye will beat them well, cappamore were 2.0 up on granville so i think they have improved too and could beat Summerville, Weston should beat pats and Granville to beat Knockainey as for us i will wait till sunday afternoon but feeling confident
No, I've had the misfortune of having him reffing games when we've played country teams and he's ridden us ragged on every occassion, such is his way. Having spoken to players from other city based teams they've all had the same experience.
Have to agree with you there. If we don't start getting results soon we can forget about it. Too many stupid mistakes made by us. We'll get what we deserve in the end. With the commitment we have been getting from players we have to do better. No point in us just waiting for something to happen. Sunday is when it matters but sadly we haven't been delivering. All good and well having 24 lads training every week busting there balls but if we don't do it Sundays we can forget about it.
ye are trying to be too smart defenceively, last year ye were hard to score against cause it was defend at all costs, this year ye are trying to be too smart and are giving away silly goals
[QUOTE=Baalbec United;1256168]Who is J Carey and why the upheaval?
Grinder apologies re:an earlier typo Knockainey 3.1 this weekend and to add if ye dont beat wembley this weekend you can say bye bye to promotion
Agree with you there, but after the loss against Charleville, (which was a sickener) we will see what the lads are made of, trainning has been going very well but transfering it onto the pitch is the problem
Must admit john carey does favour the country teams but its a change from all da city refs doing city teams favours, when kilmallock As got into the premier last year they found out the hard way how one sided city refs can be!Theres 1 ref doing country teams favours on occasion against how many refs doing city teams favours week in/week out????This isnt all refs ,there are some very good refs that are very fair every match
I'd say its likely our pitch will be unplayable. With the amount of rainfall this week and our A team playing in the morning the Greenhills might not hold up.
john carey didnt ref any kilmallock A games last year and if you went too any of the games you would know refs favour the big teams
kilmallock 3 charleville 4 kilmallock 3 1 up at half time
No excues's here...we were shocking simple as...Conceded 2 late goal's and gave away too may free's(free and penalty first two goals) and we defended terribly...Wake u call we needed...Hopefully we can learn from our mistakes..!!! We were 3-0 up at one stage nd all...Worst performance we ever gave bar maybe 1 or 2 players....!!!!
Ya I thimk that's what da problem was man...Ah we were missin a few(14 players there out of 23 on the squad) but I still expected us to preform better...It was on in Charleville and there not bad some good players..But a few their player's also playing wit their A side...But to be honest we made it very very easy for them with our defending...I would say Mike Kavanagh didn't help but we were just that bad and didn't deserve it..!!!
