Played them sunday...they are not that bad...they play a very high defensive line which leaves room behind and if you have pace in your side you'll hurt them...dont think they'll go down though

watched granville in preseason and thought they wer average at best.there biggest problem last year was they couldn't score enough goals and it seems they did not fix that. also there back line is slow enough with that ollie penny in centre back
franky walsh is back to balla b !!!!!
one to keep an eye on should get plenty of goals this season

After next thursdays'fixtures(10-09-09) boro b will have played 7 fixtures..
2 at home and 5 away..a small bit unfair i think and to be honest cant see the home fixture this thursday going ahead if we get the rain that is forecast. any body else with the same scenario??
why are shannon town playing saturday and not sunday???
All games off Tomorrow night....
Just another question lads...who fixes a junior match on a Saturday night at around the same time as Ireland play a world cup qualifier??? It's nuts!
Now i know a few lads kicked up a fuss last year when games were on the morning after a Munster match...but i dont think thats an issue as we play football and have nothing to do with peanut hugging, but I mean i assume anyone who kicks a ball with a team and has an interest will want to watch Ireland beat Cyprus(;))....either way looks like the rain will solve the problem!! :D
That is bad enough but the referees will make sure you have to travel to be told the pitch is too waterlogged and collect their half fees.
On the refs debate about a pay rise, you earn a hike if you deserve it from improving your standards, not because you have the ldmc by the cahonas afraid to take them on as happens every week ,when clubs go in about an incident that involves a ref and report is a novel of lies.
The committee listen to the clubs side of the story then the clubs get slaughtered and i have seen this myself over the years.Stand up to these leeches.
Recently got my name taken by some clown who thought he was a ref, no card was shown and this morning i was notified i was banned for a match and 30 euro fine, come on a pay rise. Another incident a player was sent off for a second yellow, when he asked the ref for what the ref waved him away and would'nt say, some of these guys are only on power trips and dont care about the game of football
I wouldn't say its a power trip more likely some of these refs are bottlers who can't handle the pressure when things get heated on the field start focusing on the wrong things and forget to follow the game and screw up all the important decisions, just bottlers and a few tossers
