What are Ballina town like - even though i would say they are hot favourites to beat salthill at the weekend.
Salthill have lost there last 3 games and gone out of 2 cups and fallen way behind in the Galway league so this is there only chance of any silverware this season
Ballina Town only in pre season training so i wont know what they like, should be a good game.Quote:

From what I hear it was a fairly easy game for Salthill who never got out of second gear.
I was up there and both teams were shocking bad and it was one of the worst games i saw in a long time.
There was no drive, passion, commitment or anything like that from either team.
Salthill should beat colmanstown next round and then i think they will be losing semi finalists again Corrib rangers or Abbey utd

your some clown comin out with a statement like that.Zip it good man
Mr Ballina Town:
I'm afraid to say that was my opinion of the game yesterday,I thought it was an awful game on a very good surface
What did you think of the game - maybe your views are different to mine??
It's looking like Castlebar Celtic against the winners of the Abbey v Corrib match for the final. Not sure how either of those matches would go really. Who do ye see winning this out at this stage?Quote:

I think Gazza2 you need to purchase the Western People and read the match report, Ballina Town dominated the game for 80 minutes, and didnt capitalise, they were playing some lovely football, with alot of pride and heart, so your comment for mindless and unwarranted..
As i said it was my honest opinion of the game. The game was terrible and the paper always try and make it sound interesting even if its not.
I watched the whole game on sunday and i still say it was terrible by both teams.
The surface was great and the ball was in the air the whole game - i better stop now before i really get into a rant about it
When i said there was no passion, commitment etc - this wasnt just aimed at ballina town,it was aimed at both teams and i still stand by it
id agree that salthill lacked any commitment, they spent the game fighting among themselves, and showed no team spirit, on the other hand ballina were very discipline and determined....
i was also up to see the game, and from the touchline it was a good performance, that what the reporter saw and said, and i talked to a neutral at the game who agreed, since the paper backs me up, a say to you check mate...
look you think your right and i know im right so lets just agree to disagree cause to everyone else i'd say we sound like 2 auld moaners
