Continental moves tend to suit more technical players like Cullen and Parrott (or players who are just really good like Jake O'Brien). I'm not sure going to the continent would be any different to going to League 2 in Curtis' case. Ultimately the reason O'Connor ended up in League 2 is because that's his level. It's too early to fully come to the same conclusion about Curtis, but the signs so far are that he may end up on a similar path.

What level of club do you think would be interested in signing him? If it's not in the top league in the country, is it worth moving?

As predicted by a few posters here his next move has indeed been to league 2 as he has signed on loan for Chesterfield for the second half of the season. Another drop down the divisions to hopefully find his level, despite still only being 20 you'd feel this one kind of needs to go well for him.
