I have only just found out that Paul McShane came on as a sub for Man U reserves against Blackburn,he has been injured for a while.
Spurs lost 2-0 to Charlton Andy Reid seemed to do well in the highlights I saw, he put a couple of great crosses in, Keane missed one and should of scored Kanoute missed the other,Reid also had a free kick cleared off the line by J.Fortune after beating the keeper,he also had an amazing 30 yard volley disallowed for a foul by one of his teamates(It was like Roney's in the FA cup).It was intresting to see that Spurs played Reid on the right wing,Keane looked lively but missed a couple of chances.
McGeady was brilliant tonight for Celtic as they beat Inverness 2-0 he played left wing first half and right wing second half,he won Man of the Match.
McGeady was an absolute class act tonight. Ronaldinho wouldn't even come close. :)
It just proves what a rest can do to a player. He said he didn't need a rest but MON thought he did, it certainly worked. :)
Paul McShane captained United's reserve side to a 2-0 win over Grimsby Town on Tuesday that saw them reach the semi finals of the Pontins League Cup.
Graham Ward - Cheltenham Town, doesnt get in much
Paddy McCarthy played last night for Leicester against West Ham.I thought he had a good game, considering he has only just started playing first team football. He started off a bit shakey but he settled down and looked very confident. That is the first time I have seen him,and he looks a complete defender.
Delaney scored for Hull this evening, I'd say he mightget a call up for the end of season friendlies, similar to Rowlands getting called into the squad for the Romania game despite being in the 2nd division at the time.
Jonathon Douglas hit the post for Gillingham in his second game on loan for them, some comments from gillingham.rivals.netQuote:
The arrival of Douglas and McEveley have really given the side a boost - they look like Premiership players and are definitely better than we already have. If we can keep them for the rest of the season they will play a key part in keeping us up.

Douglas and McEveley once again impressed, and if we could extend the loans until the end of the season they will play a big part in hopefully keeping us up.
Stokes scored a peno for the Arsenal reserves on Friday. Cregg and O'Donnell also started.
Quote:
With half time fast approaching Stokes staked a claim for a regular spot up front with a sublime turn and shot. With his back to goal he flicked the ball up, lifted it over his own head, span round his marker and sent a first time volley crashing against the upright.
Arsenal reserves beat Portsmouth 4-1 on Saurday,Stokes,Cregg,O'Donnell all started.Stokes scored a penalty after being brought down himself,he also played upfront for the first time in a while.Cregg was in centre midfeild with Gilberto and O'Donnell played left wing.
There was a nearly a moment of brilliance by Stokes - "With half time fast approaching Stokes staked a claim for a regular spot up front with a sublime turn and shot. With his back to goal he flicked the ball up, lifted it over his own head, span round his marker and sent a first time volley crashing against the upright".
Arsenal reserves play tonight against Southampton with the same team expected.
