And Pierce Sweeney is set to sign for Reading.
Interesting that people assumed Brian McDermott was at the Carlisle a few weeks back to scout Forrester but he wound up signing Sweeney.
I said that a few weeks back, he was there that night to look at Sweeney, and it wasn't the first time Reading had been looking at him. Supposed to be a very good deal for Bray and the player. Very good talent and still only 17 has looked very comfortable at CH for us since coming in. Hope it all goes well for him and if we had any cop on we would throw an aul friendly game into the contract details too.
Deal should be signed within the next 24 to 48 hours from what i hear. All the best to the young lad and hope he really goes far in the game.
It was mentioned earlier in this thread i think that Connor Murphy was going to sign for Bohs. Apparently he will be signing for Cork now. (though the person who broke the initial rumour also broke this one) ;)
Conor Murphy signed for us today
bit of a loss to finn harps that marc brolly has departed I assume he was signed as cover for the lads that are injured.
Brolly was last with Dungannon.. but that said I think we were trying to sign him.

Bray Wanderers IN
Kevin O'Connor - Worcester City
Pat Seery - Bohs
Brendan King - Portland Timbers
O'Connor is a very good player, hopefully he can stay injury free. I know nothing of the other two...
Another 2 in for Bray Wanderers - Lee Dixon (Bohs) and Ismahil Akinade (St. Pats)
City have signed Brian Lenihan an 18 year old schoolboy international from local side College Corinthians, central midfielder.
A couple of signings likely to be finalised by Athlone in the coming days - Sean Skelly released by Longford, and loan signings of Mark McGoldrick (Sligo) and Neil Harney (Bohs).
In case people missed it. Ian Daly has left Pats. Not sure where he'll end up
