Galway plugged away and kept pride in the shirt, the meagre travelling support bore events with dignity and humour, a season or two down below and they will be back.

Fair play to the Galway fans who did travel, I was expecting less of them tbh. On the game thought we were very good , could have gotten double figures easily. Good to see everyone is in top form coming into this time of the season. Russell was excellent.

Thought the Drogheda keeper looked very ropey first half,especially for crosses. However a magnificent performance from him second half to keep the score down. Nice to be able to leave the likes of Twigg, Rice and Finn on the bench for a rest.
