A few movies / TV shows:Waterworld - nowhere near as bad as the critics said
Falling Down - loved it
Party Animals - got canned after one series but was excellent
Off the Rails - not just because of Caroline but despite the awfulness of the subject matter, the guys did a nice job
RTE sport coverage - if they do it right, they are excellent. They frequently don't, but in fairness, top class when they get it right
They're just a bit annoying.

And where did Falling Down come from? Great film! It has Robert Duvall in it! And he might not be the greatest actor who ever pulled on a shirt, but Michael Douglas is excellent in it too.
I hate the way people put things in here that they don't like, and then try and claim everyone is supposed to hate them too. :mad:

Good point - but within the small section of the golf world that I inhabit, the vast bulk of people whisper conspiratorially that "it is much better watching on tv - you see more".
But that aside, point noted - this is supposed to be for stuff that officialdom think is rubbish but actually isn't.
So, noting the potential contradiction:

More of a personal rule, but I tend to hate ads with celebrities hawking some product. The recent Halifax ads with Colm Meaney, however, I quite like.
