Knowing Boscos it was probably an all in brawl........

Hey pac, my sums add up to the same bud. They need 6 points.
4 points if the draw comes versus Kinsale.
Murphy's Irish Stout Premier League

Kinsale 17 13 2 2 40 15 41
Leeside 15 11 3 0 38 9 39
Grattan 17 12 1 4 31 13 37
This is the correct league table encluding tonights game for Leeside.Your actually right in what your saying Pacman.4 points isnt enough to win it outright.
Leeside will need to win 2 of their 3 remaining games to put them on 45 pts.Kinsale can only make a possible 44.So thats fairly straight forward.I have to give credit where its due an Leeside have really strung a fantastic run of wins together.Especially for me beating Park home an away an Wilton away one after the other.Massive 9 points. But again they seem to be doing the buisness at both ends of the pitch an thats league winning form.
The bottom of the table looks as interesting.Everyone from Blarney St down can still be caught in the race to avoid the drop.Any four from Glenthorn,Blarney St,Coachford an Knockavilla could loose out.Village are officially relegated as a result of tonites result. No Silverheights next season.
Innish, I will probably drive down to your game Sunday. Makings of a cracker............ Lads, I think Innish deserves a bit of credit for the way he has complemented nearly everybodys teams this season and not a lot about his own bunch. Been keeping an eye on them and they are after having some season. Lost first 2 games and 14 wins and a draw since, and i have a feeling will win on Sun to win the league.
Good point timmypav, yeah in fairness glenvale looked like they were going to **** the league at one stage, bit cocky if you ask me.innish went about their business quietly and fair play to them.best of luck to both teams Sunday, not forgetting hibs who will force a playoff should this game end in a draw and they win their game.
Timmy Innish is like the Gran dad of this thread.Everyone likes him cause he never looses the plot.Well done Innish.
Aahh shucks lads I'm blushing here.
In all fairness it should be a cracker on Sunday - always had good games with Glenvale - we managed to pip them three years ago to runners up spot, they recently lost a play-off with Kilreen for promotion so they've been there abouts consistently for a few years now, and as beezer pointed out I wouldn't be surprized to see a few Hibs guys there hoping for a draw. Great to see AUL 2 & AUL 2A going right down to the wire...
Scaffa got it about spot on with his assessment of our game last night. An absolute massive 3 points for us and in fairness i think they were deserved.
Im sure dillons will be waiting to get revenge when we lay them again tuesday night....
Will be a cracking game on sunday inish best of luck to ye the unbeaten run ye went on is deserving to win any league so if ye do win it then nobody cant say ye deserve it..
Best of luck to dillons cross on friday in the city challenge cup final against blackpool celtic..
Good luck to ye to beezer in the same cup lad....
Probably Innish but i'd be happy if we beat Inner & Waterloo and then Waterloo beat Milstreet- that way we will be celebrating and won't have to beat Milstreet in the last game.
Yeah fairly gutted One but i'm best man so I can't miss out. It really is nerve racking times all right but hopefully the experience of closing out the 3rd division league last year will stand to us this year and the boys can do a job on Sunday.
But as I said one game at a time and that starts with Inner City tomorrow night- who we will be giving full respect to and try to get that job done first. The waterloo game will mean nothing if we can't get a win tomorrow night.

ANYONE OUT OF 3 TO GO DOWN ::
fantatic double for the macroom teams well deserved..
Was talking to a Douglas lad today Boo and he said the ref abandanded the game after Boscos manager would nt leave the pitch after been sent off for abusing him.........Douglas will probably be awarded a 3-0 win and 3 points
thanks junglegym,i wasnt aware of the fixtures to be played. One win should keep ye up.Best of luck
owl ,is it true that there is a play off between ballyvolane, and kanturk in premier A ,for promotion. met a castleview man tonight who said ballyvolane got the three points from recent match. is this the case,.
Park 3 - 2 Leeside (4-3 on agg)
Fantastic result for us last Saturday. Were 3 nil up inside the first 15 minutes but took our foot off the pedal after that. This encouraged Leeside to come at us and thats exactly what they did.We conceded a soft goal from a set play and then gave away a penalty.3-2 at the break and although both teams had chances, the defending from both teams was outstanding. We now play Kilumney in the final(any info on them lads?)..Just wanted to say well done to Leeside.A fantastic bunch of lads and the majority of them are under 22/23 so im sure its not the last we hear of them.
Our A team finished off their league season with a 2 - 1 win at Knockavilla last Sunday.5th place guaranteed.
Spot on Shetland. We will play Kanturk in a play off to see who joins Macroom in the top tier. Apparently Castlview had an illegal player or 2 that played against us last week which was spotted so the points were awarded to us. Rightly so.
Job done tonight and back to the top of the table with all teams level on games. Inner only started with 9 and finished with 10. Went one up only 5 min before half time but came out in the second half and blew em away- I even managed to get on the score sheet again tonight. Fair play to the Inner City boys- the ones who turned up did themselves proud, especially in the first half.
One of the Inner City boys got a serious arm injury tonight and would just like to wish him well and a speedy recovery. From talking to his team-mates it wasn't the first time it happened but it still isn't nice.
I don't mean to harp on and anyone who knows me will know that I have the upmost respect for all teams we play and even those we don't but: The boys from Waterloo, including a coach, shamed themselves again tonight by turning up at our game and abusing our players only for the ref (in fairness) to send them packing back down the Mallow road. My blood is boiling over these guys and I am only hoping that our boys manage to beat them on Sunday and end there chances of winning the league- because if not I will find it hard to wish them luck in the first division next year.
looked like you miss hit it mainman and with your right foot aswell:pyou are right bout waterloo boys,if they kept there mouth shut it would of been grand but they left themselves down big time.
Bella,Main Man just take heart from the fact that ye have the 3 points,,,,,,,,,,,Waterloo as a club,in my dealings with them anyway are nothin but trouble.Never a straight forward game, always hassle,an the side line is worse than the stuff on the pitch.Tis over now an ya should enjoy the fact that they travelled so far to waste their time.Muppets.
Have to agree wit ya Littleman had trouble with that lot couple of years ago caused a big fight and their line did nt help either by getting involved too........
As littleman said Main Man just go about your business now and hammer them on sunday....best of luck!!
it isnt everyone on waterloo sideline that cos a problem.. from any time we played them it was practically the same guy that was making and causing all the hassle there was... hope springfield trounce waterloo because footballing wise springers are well able to play unlike waterloo, who are all about the long ball... second choice are millstreet
ABW
Main man, no matter if it was 1-0 or 5-0, ye got the 3 points and thats what matters. Waterloo are neighbours of ours and we enjoy a healthy rivalry with them over the years. There was always plenty banter on and off the pitch but when the game was over it was handshakes all round. I would know a few individuals involved in their club who are decent football men, unfortunately there are one or two others who give the club a bad reputation with their conduct on the line. It sounds like the pressure is getting to them but I can't understand why the persons involved have to let themselves and their club down by behaving in such a fashion.
i remember that a couple of years back scaffa and if im correct they were at it the whole game, caused fierce hassle between the clubs. Then we played them down in there place and beat them ahem ahem 8-1 hahaha. Havent grown up since lads.. Awful behaviour...
Mayfield are also challenging us for the league and they have been at our last few games and in fairness to them they show up, watch the game and never shout and moan about anything, they just watch the game and go home...
Wterloo on the other hand will prob be quiet boys when ye are on the same pitch as them lads so take it from someone who has experienced them......... They are a shocking club that play shocking football and have 1 or 2 shocking members that drag the whole team down..
Remember you win as a team, Lose as a team, And be muppets as a team hahahaha
If I miss hit a few more and they go into the top corner like that you won't hear me complaining Johhny :D Nice to a good few people down to support us last night and hopefully people can get up on Sunday morning (unlike me who will no doubt be in a cruel condition somewhere) and support the boys.
Well done last night Marty. Just saw the scoreline there on the AUL site.
Cheers M.M.R twas a gud result against a gud team, safe for now me thinks so all systems go towards hopefully welcoming Springers to the big league next year.Looking forward to my 10 minute stroll for the away game!!
just read there that ballyvolane are bgetting a play off against kanturk because they got points given back!! its a disgrace and if they win i will have nothing to do with aul again!!
zohan whats your problem.their objection was based on from what ive heard non registered players playing with castleview.castleview themselves didnt even contest it.and admitted they were in the wrong.get a life zohan any team in a promotiom position would do the same, and if they do win play off then so be it. with statements like you made there you wont be much of a loss to a.u.l.
ZOHAN are you off your game or what man.ballyvolane had every right to put in an objection.if it was your team fighting to go up ye would def do the same so i dunno what your on about..and as shetland said ud prob be no loss to the aul anyway....best of luck to ballyvolane nice bunch of lads their...
Zohan what team do you play for? Thats the worst statement ive ever heard what planet are you from biy...............Ballyvolane had every right to object to the AUL about Castleview playing illegal players and with the position they were in any other team would have done it, cannot understand how you think its a disgrace??? or do you play for Kanturk and are afraid of the Ballyvolane boys :sarcastic:
will the playoff be a two leg affair anyone no,or just a one off game in a netural venue?
First of all, Zohans comment doesnt even deserve a reply from myself or any other Ballyv member in here. I appreciate the posts from the rest of the guys in here, thanks.
If the 12th man did thank this post then i think its well out of order and i would kindly like an explination why you would condone this type of comment when it clearly states that its okay for a team to cheat and not for a club to object ?
Must have thanked that by mistake, thanks removed so forget it.
Littleman is gone very quiet on premier race, we will win title up in northside. I dont think anyone can beat us full strength.
Littleman will ye beat us playing 541 like you done last time. yere a spent force.
