Ferguson is not an idiot. To buy Huddlestone would be idiotic. Wont happen. People need to keep in mind Gibsons age. Fletcher is 3 years older. 3 years ago many united fans were dismissing Fletcher and it took him quite a while to settle. IMO Gibson looks better at this age than Fletcher. Few central midfielders have made their stamp at top teams before the age of 24, with the exception of obviously talented players like Fabreags, keane and GerrardQuote:

He was OK. Was in an advanced midfield role but Scunthorpe bossed the game for long periods. He turned his back on the shooter for the first goal.

yes but darron scoring a goal against bayern doesn't mask or hide even make up for strolling around for the rest of the game. He comes across as someone who might not take criticism too well, or more importantly take it on board, especially when its constructive....a lot of what is being said may be true about the lad.
