No its Coughlan and he is on loan from us.
Ya as Tomas says he can be very lazy. He is really talented though. He doesn't want to get involved in the tough tackles etc.. but chips in with crackers. I thought the premier would suit him having a bit of space to take players on. His younger brother from what I was told is as good if not better and is with our under 19's.
Whats the story with Kalen Spilliane now that Tommy wants him out is he stuck there because the deadline has passed or can he still go out on loan?
Thats the issue, the deadline for players moving between clubs in the country was this week(is it today), not sure if that includes loan deals. Clubs can however sign free agents at any time during the season. I think if his contract was cancelled there is still an issue that he was with a club at close of transfer window and cant move to another club, similar to Gary Pigg's contract running down with Rovers and then he couldnt play for Portadown until the new year.(even though thats a cross border transfer)
Think the deadline was the 22nd. Not sure about loans, but if we cancelled his contract after the end of the window he couldnt sign for another club until the window opened again. If he had had his contract cancelled before the window closed he would be free to sign for anyone.
Ya pretty sure the window closed the 22nd. Loan deals surely allowed as the player is still technically under contract with his original club. Loan deals happen in England right through the season as far as I know.
Today's star claiming Danny Ventre is yet to sign with Sligo and has been contacted by shamrock rovers and limerick FC. The total of players we are linked to continues to rise.
Signing for Limerick obviously.
Mark Quigley spotted in Supermac's in Limerick. Supposedly had a run in with Trevor Croly last night and Lims only ones who could pay his wage on a loan deal.
Quigley and Croly have had more fallings out than an old married couple at this stage.
Edit: mistake
Is Craig Curran still at Limerick? Hes been released by Rochdale today: http://www1.skysports.com/football/n...parts-Spotland
