Sheppard had planned to sign for Dundlak before that bit of gamesmanship by Kenny. In the end Sheps pass was the assist to Campion to take it to penalties, of which Shep scored the first one.
If Kenny had planned ot sign Sheppard then its not a great way to build a relationship with him.
In the longterm perhaps we'd have been better off without him but that was largely due to his arthritis. Worth it for the double to be honest.
