Pretty standard these days. Pretty much exactly the same deal as Rashford to Barcelona. If it goes well Roma will have got a bargain, if not they don't have to buy any we'll know a bit more about Ferguson

In which case it sounds like Brighton have been the loser in the negotiation. If he's a success playing for a big club in a top European league, they sell him at the end of the season for less than what his value will be at that point. If he's a failure he ends up back with them with his transfer value further reduced.
If he fails he'd still only be 21. Liverpool paying 95 million for Ekitike who was crap until last season at age 23
Roma fans doing the flightradar tracking thing with his plane, which has apparently just landed in Rome Ciampino airport.
Could Evan Ferguson double-up, and do a job as Vice-Pope while he is out there !
Why don't we have a Vice-Pope anyway ? !
Because publicly, at least, the Vatican doesn't like to be seen promoting vice.
I am not even good at taking good advice !
Got a heroes welcome in Rome. Hopefully that's a big confidence booster for him

Well it's pretty clear that they have gone all in on Hurzeler - its his team now. Bloom generally makes good decisions - he hit the nail on the head with Houghton - got use from Potter before he got found out (and managed to get compo from Chelsea in the process) - DeZerbi was good while he was there - but I am not convinced about Hurzeler, I think opposition coaches were figuring him out in the second half of the season. It will be interesting to see what happens next season at the club.
Brighton have sold a lot of their players this summer for what seems like under market value. Adingra was incredibly cheap. He is a really talented and exciting winger who was excellent during Afcon and has been really impressive for Brighton. Sold for about £21m. Barco looked very good during his brief stint in the Brighton team before being sent out on loan. He was sold this summer for the same amount that they paid for him from Boca juniors. Estupinan has just agreed to join AC Milan for €17m, when you look at what Liverpool paid for Kerkez and what City paid for Ait Nouri, it seems very low for someone who was one of the better left backs in the league.
All a bit strange
Encouraged with the move after listening to James Horncastle talking about it on second captains. Thinks he will get good opportunities in an attacking team with a manger who generally gets the best out of his forwards.
Presumably this move will be announced today. I think yesterday was some kind of anniversary celebration day for Roma which is possibly why it has been held over for a day.
RTÉ morning news confirming it.

Hints of an O'Neills Ireland jersey off the new Roma 3rd kit... nice timing with Fergusons move
Reports are that Roma are paying Ferguson's wages and €3million loan fee with an option to buy for a further €37m at the end of the season.
This an unbelievable deal for Roma. If he doesn't perform, they can send him back, if Gasperini can get him back to what he looked like he was going to be a few years ago, they'll at least double their money. At West Ham he was brought in just to give them options from the bench while with this deal, it's in Roma's interest to actually develop him. Gasperini has form for getting the best out of forward playes so hopefully this goes well for Evan
