I wish the "Thanks" button was expanded into several different buttons like, "Thanks," "Very entertaining," "Anti-thanks," "Interesting," etc.
Tired but elated. Threw a surprise 40th Anniversary party for my parents last night, did the catering for 130 people, invited everyone, decorated the place and organised my sister to come home from Edinburgh, my brother home from Oxford and my aunt and uncle home from Holland.
My parents freaked. Really great night had by all so despite near total exhaustion, am on top of the world.
Thanks Dahamsta for yesterdays closure - excellent tribute to one of our brothers.
Hear hear. Good call.
I dont want to work in a hotel anymore. Boo- Hoo.
It was an excellent idea. Every time I thought absent-mindedly about going in foot.ie or even typed in the web address, which happens several times a day, I remembered it wasn't up, and in turn it reminded me of the tragic events that had happened so EireBhoy was in my thoughts on a number of occasions throughout the day.
atfconline has left us and gone to Oz. Enjoy, but am gonna miss you boy. A bit of pathetic fallacy going on bout here today. X
A 'Stinger' cocktail...don't ever try it!:(
stupid car gave up on me today, nightmare, the thoughts of shopping around to get a reasonably priced replacement are irritating the living stuff out of me
I'm dying today.
Too much Guinness last night :(
College:(
Stella Artois tastes like p!ss.
Anyone know what price ipswich are to get promoted at the mo?
The temp Im working alongside is possibly the most boring man in the universe.
You should paint him blue.
Looking forward to a table quiz tonight, been awhile since been to one. Hope we kick butt.
Best ever quiz team name?
Quiz Team Aguilera...
The episode of Bottom with the pub quiz was a good one.
Aberdonian Stu and I once entered a quiz as part of a team named 'Roland Polanski's outstanding arrest warrant for statutory rape'. That didn't go down well, especially when we insisted it be used in full whenever the scores were called out. This was back before he was nabbed by the Swiss.
The headline on this story made me smirk.

What the f*** happened in the Clare League thread?
Font font font.
EDIT: Ah, he's cleaned it up. No fair.
ive been trying to work the words "vis a vis my visa" into everyday conversation lately.
The Clare League Thread is a group of about 20 lads who all know each other extremely well and the banter is like it is with any group. Each of them involved with Clare Football and many of them even playing / played together.
Fair enough there have been a few warnings but there has been some fairly over zealous moderation going on there also. Some of the stuff on there is no worse than stuff that goes on throughout this site.
Sad thing is that some of my pearls of wisdom are now residing in the rubbish bin , never to be separated from some of the genuine crap I have written :)
We were The New World Order at the quiz last night and just got pipped to victory on the tie-breaker due to a miscommunication. Dammit!
Longfordian was on my team! We had a laugh. Even more so because I fell down the stairs and had to self medicate with lots of alcohol to ease the throbbing in my ankle and pain in my thigh. Dam my new boots and Muse.

ha ha. No! The question was how many sonnets did Shakespeare write. We hadnt a club but I knew there was loads so I said to my mate "42" picking a random number so we mite get lucky but she thought I said "4" and wrote that down. The other team said 9 when in reality it was over 100 and coz they were closer, they won! Dammit!!
