Quite surprised to see that Ger Nash actually exists, thought he was a fictional character mentioned every time there was a managerial vacancy.
Gerard Nash appointed as the new manager of Cork City

:)
Hope he can get a few signings on the cheap.
Feel Usher is taking the cream for his back pocket but could be totally wrong
Pretty bizarre take on it. There's no chance Cork City are making enough money for Usher to be making a profit from them. Tim Clancy said himself a budget was there for an assistant manager but he couldn’t convince any to come down and take it, accommodation sorted, budget for a few more players he was due to bring in this summer too. From the outside looking in, a lot of Cork fans are very quick to forget that they voted to sell the club to Usher as it was becoming a total financial mess as a fan owned club
Fuad Sule apparently on his way to Derry, according to the Belfast Telegraph.
Definitely leaving Glentoran, having played loads there and at Larne, and with a season at Dalymount.
Holding midfielder type of player, and not entirely sure it's the sort of lad we'd need. Did work with Lynch at Larne before, so maybe he sees something in him.
Paddy McClean is on the transfer list at Glens too. Would Sligo fans have him back?
There's a few of those already in the squad. I wonder is the plan to have spares so that midfielders can keep eating suspensions? Gonnae be tricky to get players integrated and up to speed if there's a constant churn in the lineup (for instance, I was hoping for more from Benson and imagined him in a deep lying playmaker role, but wonder if a lack of game time means that he's not quite gelled yet).
Wonder what this means for Diallo. Love him, great player, would love to see him get back to where he was a few years ago.
He actually started out at Pats as a young fella before he went to Bohs. I remember seeing him in one game (I think it was a friendly) and thought he looked decent. Haven’t seen too much of him since he went north, but he seemed to do well at Larne in particular. As a by the way, I always thought he looked a bit, shall we say, odd ?shape wise. Almost like his legs were too short in proportion to his torso. Maybe that’s just me.
Anyway, would he not be competing with Adam O’Reilly for a place in the Derry midfield ? Hardly likely to displace him I would have thought.
Sule got a nine match suspension after a big brawl recently, that I'm almost certain he'll have to serve no matter what club he joins. If Bohs didn't have 30 midfielders already I would have back in a heartbeat.
David Cawley departing Harps, was an important older head in the squad
James McManus signed a new deal with Bohs till the end of 2027. He had a rough time with injuries over the last few seasons but he's a very talented player, happy to see the club tie him down to a long deal.
