in relation to the layout of the league divisions and relegation/promotion scenarios, are the mayo league not boud by fai rules or regulations in the structure of their league? to me the financial outgoings for clubs to participate in junior football warrant a fair and equitable system for all teams, and should allow situations where teams can hold on to players rather than creating an environment where players just go to the greener lush pastures of other teams if in a higher divison. it may be safe to envisage that many clubs will not be able to survive year to year if this escalates. in all fairness the mayo league is a pretty good set up, in need of a few tweaks here but does not deserve a situation where so much uncertainty seems to exist now.
