11/2 on Valletta looks pretty good to me.
Easy Easy Easy :D
More handicap value (IMO) tonight with sportingbet
Maccabi Haifa -2 @ 39/20 v Glentoran
Glens fans expect to get hammered, their manager just wants to avoid an embarassing defeat, and the weather is 29 degrees at the moment with 61% humidity, not ideal for the Glens players who have prepared for this game by taking on non-league N.I. teams, hardly ideal preparation for the task ahead.
Agreed, should be a home win with a few goals here tonight without conceding either.
Maccabi Haifa v Glentoran
More CL qualifiers tonight and once again it's full time v part time. When it comes to Europe Northern Irish sides just don't give a toss about the game, the players are more interested in a couple of days off work. The Glens won't be able to adjust to the temperatures this evening and their manager has stated that they will be trying to keep the score down. This one could be well over by half time so I'm going with a similar type of bet as last night. Backing over 1.5 goals for the 1st half!
Backing 2 or more goals to be scored in the 1st half @ 7/5 (Sporting Bet) - 0.5pts
Going for that one too, except with Expekt (that sounds weird....) at 6/5 coz my SportingBet account is acting up.
5-0 now :)
I backed 4-0, 5-0 and 6-0 as well so getting very nervous about now!
6-0 Now... 88 gone...
6-0 FT.
God I love IL teams in Europe, you can always rely on them :)
Aye piled in this one.
el Bettor thanks for this one.
Cheer Maribor, glad some of you were on, I had a number of different handicap bets so it was the more goals the better, great fun cheering them in watching the live stream. I wish betting was always as easy as it has been the last few days.
Tomorrow it is the turn of FC Bangor of Wales to be lambs to the slaughter away to Honka of Finland. Awaiting further prices.
Yeah, the early Euro rounds always tend to be a bit of a bonanza. If only I had bet a bit more... :)
Honka -2 @ 11/5 with sportingbet

The 5/2 draw and 15/4 away win in the Skonto-Derry game looks like decent value. I'm not saying they'll do it but I don't think there's enough between the teams to justify those odds.
I'll be taking some of the 6/4 on Vaduz +1 against Falkirk.
and I read that Skonto are missing a lot of players and due to transfers and injuries they dont have a recognised striker for tonights game
Vaduz are 11/2 to win at Falkirk as well. Considering the awful record of lesser Scottish teams in Europe that might be worth a punt too.
6s is astonishing value.
Our team is likely to be
------------Rogers---------------
Maher-Harris-Partridge-Stevens
B Ryan-O'Conor-Byrne-D Ryan
------Fabio----Guy------
The only player on the bench to have played more than 10 senior games is Alan Cawley. I can't see us keeping a clean sheet, and I can't see us scoring.
Skonto have sold their two best strikers recently (one of them now plays for Maccabi Haifa and put two past Glentoran last night). I'm not too sure about tonight's game but I fancy Derry to go through to the next round.
I can't say I'm expecting much from Pats tonight. Hopefully they can win and keep a clean sheet but the Valletta odds look very tempting.
I think Valletta will be expecting tougher opposition than they'll get and will settle for the draw.
Cheers Dodge, I'll give it a go.
St. Pats -v- Valletta
If this game was last season this would be banker for a home but things have changed greatly for Pats and they are in a transition period at the moment. Pats will missing their 3 main strikers for tonight and have drafted in a striker on loan to fill the void. They have found it difficult to score many goals this season and have also been leaking goals at the back. In all, Pats will be missing 8 senior players and will be finding it difficult to fill the bench tonight with any type of decent or experienced player. Valletta are no world beaters themselves but they have already caused a 'shock' and one tonight wouldn't be too much of a surprise. Pats fans are dreading this game and are fearing the worst. Doding Priso seems to be the business for the visitors scoring 15 times in 22 games. They also have ageing Jordi Cryuff, of Man United and Barce fame, on their books. SkyBet go 6/1 and that's surely worth a bet against a very poor Pats side. The Maltese are taking this game seriously having arrived in Dublin on Monday to get themselves adjusted for tonight!
Backing Valletta @ 6/1 (SkyBet) - 1pt.
Seeing as nearly all that came from my posts, I want a cut if it comes off
if we win, I'll pay you a pint...
Fair? ;)
I've taken Derry to win or draw tonight.
Is Farren still injured? He's not named in the list of injured players but not named in the likely starting line up either.
Manathon, 17:20 Cartmel.
Lads,
Bad weather may effect the Derry game. I'd expect Farren to play.
Fecking Honka only won 2-0!
11/10 on PP seems very good value on Derry City against Skonto considering they battered them away and now this: http://www.rte.ie/sport/soccer/2009/...kontoriga.html
Any Pats fans about or people who saw the 1st leg I see Boyles are going 7/4 Valetta are they worth a bet
Also thought Derry were a bet as well they were 5/4 in Powers yesterday I think
Backed Derry @ 11/10 with PP
