Yeah, its the Daily Mail so I wouldn't be too sure about the veracity of it really. Still a very ominous sounding story, if anyway true.

Mentioned it in another thread but the point still stands.
The Kelly story was all over the radio this morning, I'm told.
Kelly isn't a prima donna. He's an articulate, likeable and grounded person so this speaks volumes.
Anyone know the details of this barney??
The last player in the squad you'd expect to fall out with anyone, especially the management. Not good.
Brian Kerr was only singing Kelly's praises in terms of the type of person he is last week on OTB.
(that said didn't he fall out with Pulis at Stoke a few years ago too??)
Having a medical at Reading today, from Fulham's twitter account: https://twitter.com/FulhamFC/status/289720553097527296
Quote:
Our Manager also confirms that Stephen Kelly has undergone a medical at Reading today with a view to a permanent deal #ffc
He needed to get first team football so good decision to move.
Hope he can help them avoid the drop, tough task though.
Reading could line up with a back four of Harte-Pearce-?-Kelly
if Pierce Sweeney or Sean Long got promoted to the senior team, it'll be an all-Irish back line!
He's not eligible to play for us, according to greendeiseboy: http://foot.ie/threads/166379-Sean-M...=1#post1644428
According to everyone else he's eligible though. His wiki page also states he's eligible for both, although, that's wiki.
Debut today alongside Pearce and Harte in defence away to Newcastle
What time does that game start Trap?
3:00pm - Now
Had a really good game for Reading against Stoke. Kept Etherington in his pocket all afternoon, worked like a dog, and held onto the ball well
This is from a few days ago so Im sorry if its been discussed elsewhere on here but i didnt see it anywhere.
Trap just really does not seem to like SK.

It hasn't been discussed because it's a complete non-story cooked up by the Indo.
Lets let Stutts be the judge of that, Chuckles.
That's Professor Chuckles to you.
He really needs a move as soon as possible. Not even in the matchday squad this afternoon. Only 16 club appearances last season. 31 next month. It's a pretty stark situation.
He still made four Intl. appearances last season though, so it's not all doom and gloom.
He's injured: http://www.henleystandard.co.uk/spor...t.php?id=40007
Out of contract Kelly not on plane for Reading's pre-season trip to Thailand. Simon Cox misses out through injury. Shane Griffin & Pierce Sweeney are omitted. New signings Stephen Quinn & Paul McShane and youngsters Sean Long & Niall Keown are the four Irish men included.

Reading always find a way to make up the Irish numbers.
Released by Reading today after failing to agree terms on a new contract.
He's far from past it, but would love to see fellas like him consider coming home.
It's a nice idea, isn't it? But, from a practical point of view, he's likely to earn circa €2k here. Whilst I'd imagine he'd command a wage of £5k or so at a League One or lesser Championship side. That's a gap of about €200k a year. That's an awful, awful amount of money.
With Duff, his money was made. McPhail wanted to raise his family in Ireland (I think the family had moved home and he was commuting back to Ireland) and was 34 or 35. Keith Fahey has only ever spent 4 years of his professional career in England so he's a different consideration to the likes of Duff, McPhail and Kelly.
Sad reality is you could run a first division club for six months on what he can earn now, excluding bonuses, signing-on fees, loyalty fees etc. 32 in September, he has about three more years decent earning potential left, though if signing for a LoI club was a lifestyle choice he must have earned/invested enough by now to be able to take a lower pay cheque, if not even retire in comfort.
He's recently bought and renovated a house on Griffith Avenue, not far from Tolka and Dalymount.
signed for Rotherham until the end of the season: http://www.themillers.co.uk/news/art...d-2808403.aspx
7 clean sheets in 10 games for Rotherham's "lucky mascot".

Training with Aston Villa.
interviewed on the Keith Andrews show on Off The Ball yesterday
Maybe it's just me, but he's starting to look a bit like Father Ted-era Tommy Tiernan there
Is it just me or is he absolutely dreadful on co-commentary?
Dreadful seems a little harsh. He's no Ray Houghton.
His voice hasn't broken yet, give him more time.
