Yeah it’ll work with an IPhone 6 ,I’ve no idea about the iPad but I don’t think it should be a problem….

Womens games are now charged the same as first division games. They used to be free so this feels like a backwards step in respect to encouraging people to tune in. Haven't heard if the quality will improve, it was mostly pixelot cameras last season. If they will be using human camera men then fair enough, but would like it confirmed.
It sounds like a good idea on paper.
However in practice few people will pay for it
I can watch far higher women's football for free.
The LOI website homepage still only has 3 links to PDF documents with fixtures for each division so LOITV website is actually way ahead of that mess.
Seems to me LOITV won't be promoted until they get the main LOI website sorted out which is a farce almost two weeks before a rebranded league kicks off. Same old new FAI

Some stats in one of the statements released somewhere said there was circa 180,000 registrations on the site last year with 66,000 of those signing up for a subscription. By subscription, do they mean someone buying a match? I was surprised (pleasantly) by both the figures mentioned.
From the wording, it would seem so. I think people had to register even if it was just to watch the highlights. That 180,000. It would seem that 66000 then paid for at least one match.
Is there a reason they need people to register for highlights? The highlights could be made more readily available through a YouTube channel once recorded?
Pardon me if this has already been mentioned, but I was just wondering will L.O.I.T.V have a highlights programme ?
Thanks everyone
yes the Monday highlights show is being scrapped, and now each club will be free to do its own highlights package as soon as they like. (previously the footage was embargoed until midday on Saturday, I think, for some reason)
It was a very bad production
Perhaps it was poor but at least we could watch all of the games highlights/goals from all three leagues, now we won't have a way to watch them all, unfortunate.
LOI Central or Extratime.com would be good candidates to present the highlights on a YouTube Channel.
Can't understand in this day and age why they can't put together a decent show on YouTube.
The GAA have Sunday evening highlights on RTE. RTE cover rugby then on Mondays. The League of Ireland is left out.
Some clubs want to work away with their own highlights. It'll be difficult to work with broadcasters if that is their preference.
A number of podcasts have gained traction in recent years. There is a market for combined highlights with analysis. It'll probably take someone with enthusiasm and knowledge of putting that together. There is a gap in the market for it and a YouTube channel would seem to be the best platform.
Is anyone. Having trouble with the match on LOI TV this evening ? I’m just getting sound, but no picture. Very annoying. Just bought my season pass this afternoon.
Working OK on chrome browser on my laptop. Had an issue at first but reloaded the page and it was grand. Quality not amazing.
Working ok for me as well. Casting it to the TV. Terrible second goal for Rovers to concede.
Still can’t get it on smart tv website. Really poor that (basketball Ireland same for their season pass).
wouldn’t work on my iPad though which was very annoying. Anyone else experience that?
missed a lot of second half but looked comfortable enough for Derry. Roll on next week!
Rovers better hope Mannus doesn’t get injured!
Seen a lot of complaints it doesn't work on iPad. I only watched the highlights as I was at the Drogs game but the quality didn't look fantastic and the LOI TV logo is fierce clunky in the top corner. 120 is great value but there's so much more that could be done.
It's great value and the stream does the job but it could definitely improve. Stream last night was quite blurry in motion and seems to have low frames per second at different moments. Maybe because its pre season it's not the proper premier division set up yet. Just glad this stuff is available to watch to he honest.
Stream worked fine on my end. Unfortunately we were absolutely ****e to watch.
Watched it Friday night. Flawless on my end, impressed with it.

These should be useful FAI TV YouTube playlists for the season ahead. Matchday highlights will be appearing in both.
Bloody hell the website is scrambled on my iPad - going to try laptop :( - also my season pass doesn’t seem to be on my account :0 - shocking stuff - why couldn’t they just leave last years mode in place
Update: tried laptop and lo and behold I have my subscription etc. iPad worked fine last year :(
Glad I did an early systems check b4 kick off
Anyone else having trouble paying for a match. Just keeps 'spooling' after clicking pay, and then just freezes. 2 cards tried
Never mind, refreshing the page did the job
LOITV season pass not sold well according to Loi Central…..
No surprise that when two weeks before the season kicked off barely anyone was aware of it's launch
Yeah was not good to hear that on the podcast. Seemed to suggest dodgy box viewers could be part of the problem.
A lot of the messaging around LOITV is about 120 for the season instead of 7 or 5 per match pass. Was there likely to be a big up take on the season pass from people who are likely to catch all of their clubs home games?
Only the FAI to blame, minimal marketing, opening day of season I still found myself explaining to people you could watch every game for 120 not just your teams matches.
