No, I'd never even heard of that law until you posted that. I was making a genuine (to my mind) connection between Pablo's joy at having a legitimate claim to an Irish passport because he was born here, his obvious disagreement with the likes of Clinton Morrisson, Kevin Kilbane, Matt Holland, etc also having a legitimate claim to an Irish passport, and the opinions of right wing groups around the world that only the people born in a country should be allowed to live and work there, and claim nationality there.Quote:

I'm not a man, but I still would thump you. Geysir is right he should be ignored and I usually do ignore knobs like him, I am just very surprised that the mods let him get away with it. This is a good thread with a poll and he is destroying it and breaking the FORUM RULES!!!!!! :mad:Quote:

If you have any vinyl records around someplace, what about "Fanfare for the common man" by ELP. At least the name is spot on.
"STAN" by Eminem?

Headline in today's Telegraph was "Stan must earn his Laurels" which I thought was funny.
"Send in the Clowns?"
I agree. To congratulate him on his new job he should be presented with a Laurel... and Hardy handshake.Quote:

how about,
'bring your daughter to the slaughter'
Has to be Monty Pythons "Always look on the bright side of life" :D
"Some things in life are bad
They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best...
And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...
do do..do do..do do..do do..."
I think this thread needs reviving. :)
The muppet show has to be a strong contender now :D
how about a revised version of the japan / korea anthem :
'here come the good times (charley's)
D:REAM - Things can only get better
Queen - The show must go on
I know this is liable to p iss a lot of people off, but I couldn't resist...

(P.S. Couldn't find Krusty's classic rendition from The Simpsons, but you get the idea)
has to be Frank Sintra's High Hopes
I think sexual healing by Marvin Gaye would be ideal.....
"Livin on a Prayer" by earnest soft rock corny types - Bon Jovi
"You stole the sun from my heart" - Manic Street Preachers
embarrassment - madness
do you really want to hurt me - culture club
tragedy - the bee gees
load of bol***s - The Specials
