DFC | Kenny still hoping that McMillan will stay at Dundalk FC
St Johnstone lead the chase for 28-year-old’s signature
Stephen Kenny is still hoping that David McMillan will remain at Dundalk next season despite heavy interest from Scottish outfit St Johnstone.
Speaking last week, Saints boss Tommy Wright sounded confident that he would land McMillan but Kenny said that as far as he was aware, no deal was in place to take the 28-year-old to Perth.
“David is in Sri Lanka and is due back this week,” he told
Dundalk Sport. “I’ve had a bit of contact with him through WhatsApp but we’ll just have to wait and see.
“If he has agreed to leave then it’s not something I’m aware of because he assured me he would speak to me again and come back to me before he made any decision.”
