Everton are a cash-strapped club and unless Dunne is involved as a swap in the deal for Lescott then it is unlikely.
St Ledger is the perfect type of David Moyes player - under-rated, not too expensive and a great work-rate. It's a win-win situation if he goes to Goodison.
Comparing it to their attack has nothing to do with it.
Last season they conceded 2 less goals than Aston Villa, who finished 6th. City's defence was much improved in the second half of last season- they conceded 22 goals in 19 games, which I think is pretty good. Add the fact that they have improved their defence in the summer I think it is fine.
My point is that City have bought defenders who can get them into the top four
