RTEngland have no problem showing Arsenal and Bayern Munich games but they cant even show Shamrock Rovers 2nd leg in Partizan possibly the biggest game in European history for an Irish club its a blooming disgrace
It's disappointing alright that the game is not being covered. TV3 or 3e are the one's showing all the Europa League games...
RTE have showed that game going back years.Quote:

It dosnt make any difference what they have done in the past, and its not as if they are doing their viewers a huge favour by showing the match as it is been shown live across several TV channels that are freely available in this country.
Setanta had said they were looking at the 2nd leg.
Also St.Patricks Athletic v Shamrock Rovers on live on monday 12th September at 8pm.
Just overheard a lad on the bus saying that Sellotanta aren't showing Shams on Thursday? Anyone know what's happening?
Sellotanta and the black background where you can only see their heads - great apres match sketch.
Btw BonnieShels did ye put that on overheardindublin.ie :)
No, but I'll give you permission to do so.
No Irish broadcaster showing a potentially historic game for LOI football.
However, Celtic and Rangers are still available to view again in this country. And if you're really lucky you might even get to watch Stoke and Spurs play elsewhere. Spurs might decide to play with 7 senior team players and make their game a semi-contest. And there's also exclusively live coverage of Birmingham's bid for Bucharest beginning next month. Mouth-watering stuff.
