I was talking to Liam Lynch on facebook just now.. The reason he couldnt commit to staying with us was that he is going to the USA for a soccer scholarship in September and couldnt sign for a league of ireland club.. He said that he would have loved to stay as he loved it here..
We might see him back with us in the near future . You never know..:)
its possible donoghue was helpin out as keeper coach too at the 20s but he definitly wasnt their manager. A guy called john wilkes manages the u20s. Donoghue may also have taken over senior keeper coachin duties when tommy wright leftQuote:

A left footed attacking midfielder with an eye for goal an a great shot. Kildare Co were renting Newbridge's ground which probably explains why they couldn't poach their best player and captain.

with regards to players gone on the sligo forum a sligo fan posted that Gary Curran has signed for Galway Utd.. On another forum Brian McCarthy and Tom King were on trial for Galway Utd the other night.Jason McCartney has apprently signed for Sligo Rovers for next season...
