who was the ref leather
In fairness , he did concede 4 against the Boro, but none were his fault, and it could have been 7/8 only for him.
He also made some nice saves last night, so credit where credit is due, he is a good keeper.
As for your last comment above, in all fairness any team in town would struggle if they lost 10-12 players from their squad in the off season, even the so called "big teams", so give the smart remarks a break and just wait and see the outcome at the end of the season, and we'll take it from there.
Its getting boring now, with all the anti Star remarks.
Anyone got next midweeks fixtures??
to me fairview would have to be outright favourites.
They play Pike and balla at home, have a far bigger squad that anyone else and have the returned LOI players .... its theres to lose
Not Sure of the refs name...
boro have pike & regional left at home...If the lads play aswell as last evening they could easily take points off either team..they have balla, ashling corbally and carew away.
the lads might have a say at both ends of the table yet.
Was at the game myself and while I thought the Boro back four were excellent as was Alan Barry I thought the antics of the Boro players was terrible, everytime they went in for the slightest challenge they went down injured trying to waste time. The referee it has to be said (Hourigan) had a nightmare of a game. Overall a draw was a fair result but looked like for a long time that the Boro would hold out. Balla were poor.
Ha HA hilarious.... if only the star players could actually get to the ball to tackle a player... div1a bud...
The boro players are watching too much TV, I reckon. Draw was def a fair result last night. Might be the point that wins us the league. Also, on Balla having a bit of luck this season, scoring in the dying minutes of games is never luck, its a sign of a good team with bottle.
maybe they thought that they were watching tv , with all the abuse being heaped upon the ref....like watching liverpool...
Prediction for Sunday
Fairview 3-1 Aisling
well how can they react if they spend all their time on the ground? make up your mind
the ref's name may have well been gareth ryan, because from what i saw he made most of the decisions, all balla done was moan, boro deserved to win, cracking goal to equalise though, ref was a joke
Lads there is alot of yee having ago at the ref of Boro vs Balla ,i was on the side line and on both sides were roaring and shouting trying to influence the ref s decision, then on the pitch the players were diving all over the place trying to get one another booked.I no the ref was not great but the players did not make it any easier for him.The Boro should have put the game out of Balla s reach instead of blaming the ref only them selves to blame.
Fairview v Pike
Pike v Ballynanty
Corbally v Pike
Pike v Wembley
Regional v Pike
Pike v Carew
Pike v Summerville
Pike v Star Rvs
Janesboro v Pike
Pike's run in for the league,7/8 probable wins.Seems alot easier than Balla's run in which includes Pike and Fairview away..
Aye sure we'll see end of the season,ye've managed to be wrong about 90% of things around here so far...5 home wins should come easy,Balla playing fairly average football of late,Corbally/Boro/Regional shouldn't prove that hard matchs, only match thats 50/50 is the View match, could go either way...
Didn't ye predict a draw for Pike against AA there on Thursday, instead a rather comfortable 3-0 win...Stick to the day jobs lads, being a pundit isn't quite up your alley..
Fairview 5 - 0 Aisling.
Scoreline doesn't flatter the view at all. Could and should have been more. AA have a lot of work to do before their semi final v Balla after two bad results/performances..
There's a difference between myself and yourself,I venture a educated guess on a Pike match, whereas you base your predictions on personal liking/dislike for a team,in this case your apparent hatred for Pike..
Oh and maths doesn't seem to be your strong point either...not your week is it...Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest tbh if we did...
time of the month is it
and i'm sorry for my mathematical ignorance, the shame of it...........
ah stop hoop you're boring me now
Thats it really, I've noticed Gael123456 hasn't made a reappearance since his ban back there at the start of February and you joined in March(anybody want to check IP's? lol)...hmmm I was just looking at your posts their and you don't particularly contribute anything meaningful whatsoever...
Oh and loving the one liner there CHUM, did you look up that reply in the jokers guide to Internet forums, you'll throw another of those at me before telling me to go back to where I came from,as predictable as ever..
Cool the heels boys and get back to football, its getting tiring to watch.
Lads is there any way to get the Junior soccer fixtures on the net? I've been trawling the net for the last half an hour and nothing shows up regarding fixtures, bar the odd fixture list badly out dated to 2006 or something..I can get up most other prominent junior counties with ease, just not limerick..LDMC is down as per usual.
Seems to me the only life line is the Limerick Leader on a Monday night?
back to the football please lads, any league games played yesterday?
any results?
