Why would they? AA are now stuck with a massive Bank Loan, Fairview in a similar position. Go out to University of Limerick and have a look at the 8 brand new pitches they've built, that are rented out at far cheaper prices than any club in Limerick can match currently. Leaving the likes of the above teams massively in the hole. I know what I'd prefer...
In my opinion Aisling should be the envy of every club in town they have a super facility now and with regards to the bank loans incurred by clubs who are taking these massive steps forward the fact that most clubs have 2 junior teams a minor team and let's just say 5 schoolboy teams if the juniors and youth team train twice a week and schoolboys once then thats 11 hours of the 20 hours a week available minus an hour or 2 late on Fridays when teams don't train that's only about 5 or 6 hours of time to be advertised on a pitch, that is not a massive ask assuming your club is in town. I also don't think that the manager in a team can make a call like turning off the lights during a match I'd say that would cause a few ripples on a committee.
We Avenue utd played corbally in a friendly yesterday at AA astro pitch. Its unbelievable, I would gladly play on that every week. Well done to all involved for having great facilities
Ya I would but the facts are it happened against the 1 team who they couldnt BUY a result against.. So why do it on purpose.. It's obvious Ye pike heads are just so blinkered it's the world against pike.. Grow up and talk some sense for once
Lads, can we keep the personal stuff that nobody is interested in to PM,it ruins what is a good thread.
Thanks 12th man can we start talking football
question about tranfers.
how many teams can one player play for in 1 season?
In fairness lads if a fella has already played for 2 clubs up to Christmas what sort of loyalty would he show to another club..
What if the player is returning to the club he first left...does that count as two teams or three?
