"Sporting Fingal players have had their contracts terminated." according to Tony O'Donohue
That's not good news.
Awful for the players with only a couple of weeks to the start of the season to find a new club (on considerably less money most likely too).
I assume the three-club rule is void in this case?
Awful for fans (wahtever their number). Awful for admin staff. Awful for players and coaches. Some will get work straight away but yo'd have to feel for them as individuals.Quote:

Can't agree with that. If someone is offering to pay you, say, E300 a week, you can't go assuming it'll dry up with two or three weeks. The employees have been appallingly treated, I think.
