What actually happened? How were they treated?

I see the Mayo League are honoring convicted felons! Don't think it's appropriate in my opinion. What do others think?
One of the recipients of services to football. Don't know how a twice convicted felon can obtain Garda clearance and still be allowed continue in the game ......
Lads, can we stick to the football please.
Is there talk of a return to 10 team Divisions for next year.
Yip 10 team's it is. The comedy continues with the mob running the ML. Reversal of the farce a couple of years ago. 1 Division will have 6 teams promoted now.
Farce it is, but should never gone to 8 team divisions in the first place. The arguments in favour were thin at best and hidden agendas were obvious at the time.
Any pre season started yet? Are you involved Don this year with anyone? How are teams doing with players?
Preseason starts this week. Still with Partry. Heard Clew Bay were finding it difficult to make a team, hopefully only rumours hate to see any club struggling for players.
Lots of team's still involved in external competition. Season never ends for some, so I guess pre season doesn't really come into play. Heard that a few clubs were struggling to get squads together ... sign of the times I'm afraid
Four Mayo Players now signed for GFC. The latest is Marty Owens former Charlestown Player! http://galwayfc.ie/index.php/dunne-adds-six-squad/ Maroooooon Army!!!!!!!!!!!
And James O'Donnell of Westport United signed today, anyone on here have any idea what he's like?
any word on teams for coming season, Charlestown and snf promoted to super league? 6 teams promoted to premier A.....should be interesting year ahead :)
Here's how I predict it'll pan out: (but it all depends on teams entering B teams, pullout out etc). No idea about the bottom divisions, might have 8 team divisions.

Ya that looks right joe.... Heard rumours some teams under pressure but that's a sign a the times hopefully we might even get a few extra....best of luck to Westport Sunday going to have some battle on their hands
Any word on divisions yet.
Thought I might try this platform to see if there is anybody out there that may be interested in managing a Premier Division club in Mayo for the forthcoming season? Or even know somebody that may be interested? The club is currently looking for a gaffer for the first team. Looks like there isnt too many interested these day unless there is a rich Sheik or an Oil tycoon at the helm.
Well with the restructuring of the leagues going on we are unsure but most likely Prem A. North.
How are teams sorted for managers and players this year?
I'd say a lot of teams will struggle to field strong teams compared to previous seasons.
Westport have an aging team and don't have much coming through.
Likewise with castlebar - a lot of their good young players have gone elsewhere albeit to a higher level. They might get a few from ballyheane & snugboro.
Ballina should be ok, and see them and erris as contenders for the title.
This year might be too soon for Manulla and their youngsters. Will be interesting to see if they can hold onto their 'imports' and progress them through to Junior football.
I can see charlesstown and fahy being the surprise packets this year.
Will Manulla be in the super league next year? .... rumour has it ....
I may be totally off the mark but as the FAI instigated the return of the CSL as a sweetener to allow Galway FC back into the Eircom League, I'd guess there is some 'incentives' available to entice clubs to participate.
Anyone interested in winning a few euro in a soccer last man standing competition, tenner entry http://www.runlastman.com/competitio...t-man-standing
Have heard whispers too on another forum about a Limerick team entering the CSL. Would be great to see it up and running and fair play to Manulla if true.
So what are the club possibily going into the CSL. Any word On when the mayo league is starting this year
No mayo teams going into cls.i heard the season starts on the 23rd of march with the charity shield between westport and ballina and the league to start the following week. Thats the rumour
Anyone registered and available for friendlys yet ??
any fixtures out yet or when is league starting?
the joys of rumours :-)
