I understand your post, but in my opinion you're partly wrong. Tranmere at a low ebb, yeah I'd agree why move there? But Oxford are a decent club, relatively good history and moving in the right direction. That's a decent move.Quote:

That's a fair reply. I guess just a frustration on my part of too many lads ending up leaving the league here and ending up going nowhere at conference / League 2 clubs down the years. Obviously, most of them have HAD to leave, but it's because historically there's been nothing worthwhile here. With Rovers, Dundalk and Cork all capable of 3-5 K attendances, Rovers and Dundalk both making EL Group Stages this decade, and all 3 approaching something like full-time professional football, I'm hopeful over time that more young gifted footballers will pick a move from an Academy / Schoolboy Club to the likes of Cork, Dundalk and Rovers, rather than leaving on a free for clubs in the 3rd/4th tier of English football that may pay more money but will never appear in Europa League group stages
We're in agreement. It's all relative I guess. Compared to Wexford, Galway are a big club, with a big history. Compared to Galway, Rovers are the big club.Quote:
