wayne is a great lad, great attitude and infairness to the lad had two serious injuries that he bounced back from at a young age, people will always have an opinion on why players sign for different clubs, we have a great set up with two very good pitchs, starting new dressing rooms and with abit of luck in a year or so playing under lights, we have a great bunch of lads who always welcome new players in.

jamie egan (shannon town, cork city under 20s) to carew park
adien ryan murroe to carew park
another two very good young players carews team very young at the moment but for the 4 older heads in the squad average age around 21yrs
carew 0 wembley 1
how carew lost this one i dont know same old prob again carew just cant put the ball in the net couple of one on ones missed 3 or 4 other good chances missed. wembley scored in the 92min last kick of the game if you dont take your chances that will happen.
regional 1-3 Aishling
the score flatters us a small bit here, no playing in 5 or 6 weeks showed big time but a win is a win best of luck dines for the rest of the season there a sound bunch of lads
pike 5 balla 2
pike didn,t have to be at their best to win this one very comfortable really.nothing changes at balla, unfit, undisciplined, tacticially disorganised...didn,t understand dunphy up front,he should have been sentoff and ryan in midfield he struggles to run at centrehalf let alone put in midfield,at least 3 other players completely out of their depth.both barry and moloney excellent.dunphys goal btw a cracker.
for one c enright is a gentleman on and off the pitch i dont think you would get one player on this site past or present to say colm is a dirty player.two i have never seen pa or alan throw a elbow in anger as long as i have been watching them play, dont get me wrong they are not saints but they are not dirty players who go out to hurt anyone like dunphy.
Just looked like a team who didnt kick a ball since before xmas, defence was asleep for some of the 2nd half, Pike on the other hand seemed to have been tipping away over the festive period. Small Davey was as about as rusty as they got when he came on.
Whats the story with Wayne Cobert anyone know?
