Just realised the 2 players you are talking about are Terry Corbally of Killester and Decky Hardy of Porto. Both tall centre forwards going a bit thin on top. Similar style players as well alright. Still you must be a bit green if you think a club like killester would play a player who has already played in the competition for another club, especially a rival like Portmarnock and in as high profile a game as against Pike!
By the way it was Killesters 2nd string that got beaten on pennos in the Leinster Junior by Greystones, there were 2 first team players involved who were coming back from injury. KILLESTER WILL WIN THE JUNIOR CUP THIS YEAR AGAIN. Believe the Doctor.
Are Inchicore in the FAI junior cup still, it's a brilliant acheivement if they are, St John Bosco reached the final last year, both are very close to each other.
The full draw is:
Redcastle (Donegal) v Carrick United (Waterford)
Castlebar Celtic (Mayo) v St. Michael's (TSDL)
Corduff (Dublin AUL) v Manor Rangers (Sligo/Leitrim)
Clonmel Town (TSDL) v Killester United (Dublin AUL) or Ballina Town (Mayo)
Inchicore are thru to the 1/4 finals of the Nivea Cup,which is the AULs top Cup.They are a Saturday team and will play Portmarnock away!
Cheers man, thats excellent for them, best of luck to them
Inexile - surprised at you with a naive comment like that! Second Team -v- Second Team proves nothing and doesn't take away from First Teams of either club.
Killester targets are (1) Retain FAI junior -guarantee place in history for Graydon (2) Retain AUL Premier A - incentive trip to Japan this year I think.
Leinster Junior and the rest are a distant 3rd priority.
The Aul really put the other organisations in the shade when it comes to looking after the winning teams, Killester went to South Africa , previous trips abroad have also been excellent, also the Aul premier managers went over to Wolves for a few "sessions", brilliant advert for their set-up
Best of luck to ballina on sunday against killester!!
Dont get me started Bog,we won the Prem last season an only one Aul commitee member turned up to present us with the cup down in your place. He pulled it from a plastic bag said well done an fecked off.Just about sums up the state where in down here dosent it.Killester get to go to Japan an we get to got to,,,,,,,Kanturk,Coachford an if we are really lucky Kinsale.I'm actually ashamed tellin people this.
in limerick you get second hand jerseys from errea sports....... made in japan
I wish,I'd have been happy if he left us the plastic bag to hide the cup in.You win the Cork Aul Premier an they give you A trophy that looks like it was made by Mary Fitzgerald durin one of her programs on the Den.2 small sherrys an its full. You have to win the Aoh an league just to be in what a chance of gettin steamed drinkin from them cups, their that small.:D:D
How will Manorhamilton get on in Blanchardstown?
Carrick beat Redcastle on penalties.Good match.Carrick were the best team and probably deserved to win.Dont think they will go much further.
Good luck to them and i hope they win it.
As for Redcastle its time now to concentrate on the more important games ahead. They are still in all of their local competitions.Good luck.
