That youths game must have been a cracker!!!!!!

I was at the youths game and it was very entertaining. At half time with NCW leading 2-0 it looked done and dusted. Ballingarry got a goal back on 46 mins but NCW replied immediately. Ballingarry eventually got level at 3-3 but NCW took the lead again only for Ballingarry to level in added time. NCW won the game in the 2nd period of E.T. Tony Quaid got Man of the Match deservedly so and the trophy. Well done to both teams for a cracker. Pity that the attendance was so small. As they meet again in the Youths final hopefully the crowd will be bigger as it could be another cracker. Unfortunately I don't know the scorers names.
Hogan Cup Final
Kilcolman Rovers 0 Rockhill Rovers 1
Lacklustre game in which Paddy Kelly scored the onlygoal midway through the first half. Lots of endeavour from both sides and the only real excitement in the last 10 mins when the game got stretched a bit. Kelly missed great chance to wrap it up and Kilcolman forced Charlie O'Shea into a fine save at the end. Not a bad crowd tonight. Paddy Kelly got Man OF The Match award.
Hard to disagree with thathttp://foot.ie/images/icons/icon9.png

Broadfords Johnny Shannahan clean through, upended in the area by the keeper, ref points to the spot. My question is, where is it in the rulebook that the keeper gets only a yellow card? There was nobody else back....Broadford even missed the penalty, but did eventualy win out 5:2
its a joke aint it.i got sent of for chesting the ball last weekend..we also missed a pen today..worst carrig celtic team iv seen in a long time
Since then I have spoken to a stalwart NCW man who was at the match who claims that you definitely handled the ball but that he thought that the ball was not going in and the red card was harsh. Also none of your team mates made a big deal of the penalty, so I'm told. As an ex player who played most of his football in other leagues I must admit that the standard of referees in the Desmond league is very good by comparison. The FAI Junior Cup Final was reffed by Desmond officials and they got great appreciation. I remember going to away games and getting screwed with dodgy refereeing. Maybe you need to reconsider your assessment in general as i know from experience that there are far worse officials in other leagues albeit I stopped playing 15 years ago.
It is in the rulebook Yorkshire rose, that a red card follows such an offence, along with a penalty, but shur what harm, at least Broadford ended up winning but there was such a sense of injustice when he saved it when he should have been off the field...
well maybe the person you were speaking to is blind or something cause i didnt handle and the ball def was not going in and was harsh.none of the player made a big deal of it u were told??? well i dunno about that..there are maybe few good refs in the league like the ones that did the fai junior cup final but the others are crap..i wont name them out but everyone knows who they are..dunno bout other officials from other league but they got some crazy officials in the clare league
