The League Fixtures are been compiled by the FAI at the moment and it looks like it will be the middle of next week at the earliest before they have them completed for us. Sorry for any inconvenience.
The make up of the 4 divisions are now on the ML Facebook page, 44 teams this year, the top 3 divisions with 8 teams, divisions 2 and 3 with 10 teams in each.
why did they change the bottom 2 divisions back into 10 teams each after all the effort to get divisions of 8 teams 2 seasons ago? Does anybody know where they stand at the start of a season anymore? Was this voted on? Answers on a postcard please. These clowns make it up as they go along. The quicker there's a clear out at the top of the mayo league the better. Comments?Quote:

I must say a big well donw to the Mayo News for the excellent 12 page pullout preview to the new season. I always thought the Telegraph was the best for local soccer through Tom Kelly's involvement but the MN has now surpassed that. I hope they can keep up that increased effort throughout the season, and include some focus on teams in the lower divisions as well. It would be nice to see a small few lines on all teams containing players in / outs, aspirations etc.
Maybe, this is somthing that could be tried on a thread here??
Anyway, well done MN and keep it up !

Hi all. I am curious as to know what people thought of the selection of the team of the last twenty years of the Mayo League. I personally thought it was a bit contraversial with some glaring ommisons going by their criteria
