I don't see any major changes, if any. His profile and background photos have been him in Villa gear for a while. His bio has also read "Always have faith ! My family mean everything to me ❤️" for at least a few months now. Where were the previous references to Ireland? I'm sure tweets referring to Ireland are still there.
I haven't looked at the page in a while, but he used to have U21 Ireland player on it. Maybe it's on the mobile site. Hold on...
EDIT: Where it says that "Always have faith ! My family mean everything to me ❤️", used to refer to Ireland. admittedly I haven't looked in a while.
he had a photo of himself in an Ireland game as his profile photo, or header, I can't remember.
Either way, so what if he changed it? People change their photos all the time.
Seemed to enjoy tonight's result.
I was going to post this earlier, but it seems a little redundant now
Would any of the posters who are convinced that Grealish will now declare for England risk a year's name change on it?
I vote TOWK changing his name to Robbie Keane and the doc changing his name...
Seems a handy player but really, if he's not truly committed to us then why would we want him?
I feel a bit different, & more positive, when we are seeking to turn a second generation lad who has played underage with England.
Trying to persuade one of our own current underage internationals to play for us - well that frankly sticks in the throat.
You can change my name to anything you want if this lad turns out to be a top class player and declares for Ireland over England.
Define "top class" :)
Basically, he has to be a great player, not a good player.
What happens when the Dunphy test and the Stutts gut test collide?
Dare I to read into TOWK'S claim that Grealish not only declare but be a great player as well, is that if he was deemed not good enough for England, then it could be interpreted that ireland seniors would be his 2nd choice, whereas if he was deemed good enough for England but still chose ireland, then his choice would leave no doubt about his green credentials.
