is that stand going to have facilities underneath?
There will be two offices, in which 1 will be used by WUFC and toilets (including for disabled) underneath. The new stand will seat 1700 patrons bringing total covered seating capacity in the RSC up to 2955.
There is also talk of the extension of the existing stand which could happen in the medium term.
how much would a stand of that size with no facilities under neath cost?
I need a team to support so if Shamrock Rovers move to Donnybrook i think ill go to a few of their games. I live fairly close and Ive always had a soft spot for them anyway.
tralee dynamos in the A championship perhaps ha ha
Hopefully not. A team representing the whole county would be alot better. ie Population of county is 150,000 population of tralee is 30,000 and there is other clubs in tralee whose members would never support dynamos.
So until that happens think ill go for Rovers if they'll have me? ;)
Ah, so you're one of these people who doesn't know what they're talking about.
Would explain why you couldn't be bothered to go into town to watch Rovers if you really wanted to. Probably feels wrong walking further than your local to see a football match.
May I ask why you'd see Shamrock as a football club and not as a weed? It seems a similarly silly comparison.
I think what I should have said is that Kilbarry kind of takes in the whole area around the ground, except at the city end, if I have it right. There are places beyond the WIT end of the ground that still have their address as Kilbarry. As you know the area a bit though, I'd say those pics were taken from the green beside an estate on the hill behind the glass factory, and a bit towards the city centre, if that's any help.
Your last sentence marks you out as a man of discernment and taste, by the way. :)
Youre dead right what have UCD ever done for football eh?

Ah you gotta love Reg!:)
Well thank you kind sir. Also the Blaa is the best bread related product ever invented in Ireland :D
P.S. I was also at the first competitive game played at the RSC back in 1993. It was a First Division Shield Southern Section group game between Waterford United and UCD.
Cobh have recently installed seats at St Colmans Park but will it be up to the requirements for the Premier League?
Also, will Finn Park qualify for a Premier licence?
Tallaght, where is it at now lads? Are the Gah crowd still acting up? Any updates on it?
