great result for the lads, after mayfield scored they had 2 great chances to make it 2-0 but both chances was kicked over the bar from all of 6 yards, the lads had there backs to the wall for the last 30 minutes but defeated very well and the best the hall could manage were a few half chances
Same o same o again at Everton great squad on paper but never do anything worth taking notice of. Always politics at Everton not just at Senior. Minty left because he was playing one week and dropped the next for no apparent reason, the boy is pure class if you ask me he's the player you build your team around. Ray Leahy came back to haunt them last week which was always going to happen after the way they treated him before the season started. Trevor Daly is gone to Oz and John Des is working in Liverpool and Luke O'Sullivan gone to Ringmahon. Everton seem to be down to the bare bones of about 14 or 15 players. Troubled times ahead maybe...............
There'll hardly be any matches on this weekend. if this is the case, will teams involved in the intermediate cup lose their home advantage?
No you have 2 chances for home advantage but any other cup competition you would lose it. From what im hearing the Senior league are pushing really hard for Intermediate cup games to go ahead this week. Cant see many going ahead unless it is on an all-weather pitch.
Mayfield V Blarney is off. Mayfield have all weather pitch too but must not have wanted to play on it. No surprise its off, weather brutal.
ya mayfield have an all weather pitch but as far as i know they won't use it for matches unless they have to,from what i heard the lads would rather play on grass they say there nothing compares to playing on grass i'm sure if you ask the blarney lads they would rather play on grass

Ringmahon 1
Sn Prem Rkmnt 2-1 D Hall
Sn 2nd Crglne 3-3 Glsn
Jn Prem Myfld 4-0 Blny
hall very unlucky not to get a point out of the game. Mount deserved to be ahead at the break and got a second goal on the whistle. Hall played very well in second half in terrible conditions and got an early goal in the second half.
Hard to complain too much at half time, Rockmount made the most of their possession and better play. 2 was a bit harsh on the 'Hall, but Rockmount had a lot of possession and looked dangerous attacking. The early second half goal lifted the 'Hall, but they just couldn't get the equaliser. As avondalenutter said, conditions were diffiicult and as such, it was a pretty decent match.
Avondale v Blarney off
marys v mayfield off
Does the transfer season open today?
