The blues have just signed Stephen Grant for the rest of the season, he had a bust up with Gareth Cronin and left but Henderson has managed to get him back on board.
Great signing and hendo will get the best out of him, he's a cracking player when he wants to. With Warren back also its going to be full on now to win the 1st division.:D
what happened that grant fell out with cronin? Gradually yer old guard is coming back. I thought Warren was with ye since the start of the season???

Bohs are trying to reschedule the loan for Brian Mccarthy so theres a chance that he wont play on sunday. Theres no news on Gary Cronin signing either.
John Dineen has left UCD.
Yeah, he came on against Uruguay yesterday. Didn't get his exams though.
Heard Turner of Dundalk could be going to England, Ipswich Town was of three clubs I heard mentioned.
Was in the local paper that West Brom were interested. He's contracted until the end of the season so if he moves (which i seriously doubt) we'll be due a fee.
I would be very surprised if there is anything in this Liam Burns "flyer", as he is allegedly one of the top earners at Dundalk - have Sligo come into some cash recently?
He has been reasonable rather then outstanding for Dundalk this year. No big deal if he was to leave, and a more mobile (and fit) replacement recruited.
To lose Chris Turner would be a problem. While any fee involved would be useful, Turner and Michael Daly have been excellent for Dundalk, and would be difficult to replace.
Would welcome Burns back with open arms, there seems to be an issue with the training at Dundalk or rather lack of it. Burns probably one of the best central defenders in the league when fit.
If you are suggesting that Liam Burns has fitness problems - you are right on the money.
It's an interesting (if unsupported) theory that it's the training at Dundalk that is the source of the problem - and I certainly question why an experienced full time professional is obviously overweight
Same thing that is suppose to have happened at Bohs under Mr Connor. No surprise that Burns is after putting on weight, 1 year away from Connor and he had his weight under control and was one if not the best defenders in the league, what he sees in following Sean Connor everywhere I dont know
Strange posting on Dundalk website to the effect that Alex Williams and Michael Collins signings not confirmed, contrary to previous statment.

Interview with Chris Turner on dundalkfc.com might add some further insight on both of the above comments

Extracts from Interview article:
Arguably Dundalk’s best and classiest performer this season, the news in the past week that midfielder Chris Turner is tied to the club until the end of the year will come as a small boost to supporters who have watched their team slide back into the relegation playoff places. And Turner, who has been recently rumoured to be the subject of interest from West Bromwich Albion, says he has no intention of going anywhere. “I’m on a one-year contract and hopefully I’ll be seeing that out,” he told the DFC Magazine this week, before stating: “Obviously, I want to play at the highest level possible but if that opportunity doesn’t arise then I’m happy to stay in Ireland.”
Confidence in Connor
Turner, who has 13 Under-21 caps and 10 Under-19 caps for the North, has now worked under Connor at three clubs and is confident that the Belfast-born boss can turn Dundalk’s fortunes around and overcome the barrage of abuse he has suffered in the past week. “Obviously Sean rates me as a player and I rate him as a manager,” Chris says. “As a footballer you just want to be playing every week, and Sean plays me. I feel as if I’ve got a good relationship with him. It’s not just for football, he’s a great man and if you have any personal problems he’ll help you out. He’s always there - any time of the day, if you need him, he’ll try his best to help you out. I think, as a manager, if you’re not winning games you’re always under a bit of pressure, but Sean has a thick enough skin to take that and, as I say, we just need a bit of luck to change and things will come good for us.”
Sean Connor: A great man.
I am hear rumours that Ndo is moving back to the hoops, anyone else hear that?
when Burns left Bohs a lot was made of how he was unfit and overweight under Sean Connor at Bohs but once Fenlon took over he slimmed down and was the rock at the heart of our defence during the double winning season.
Now under Seanie again he has returned to being a slow, unfit, overweight, average player. I find that interesting.
Burns hasn't been great. According to Connor (who admitted that Burnsy was a bit overweight) Burns makes up for it with his positioning. Which is complete tripe, how any professional manager can be alright about one of his key players being overweight is farcical.
I have to say he was brilliant against Cork.
hes a chubby chaser?
Dodge have you heard any more on the O Brien to Pats rumour..or was that pure sh*te?? I read earlier you will be listening to offers for a few players.
We're willing to listen to offers (loosely translates as Please take these off our hands) for Moran, Fremainis, Fitzpatrick and Lester.
Main reason is that apparently Kenna has a couple of players lined up to come in and we have to free wages.
I'd love Fabio to be one, but he's not one of the names I hear
