any games this weekend in 1A?
no,Lawson cup this weekend
there's a few reasons but for the most part the B team is made up of lads who grew up together including the manager,
sorry mate but get your facts right,i have never played for that club, and explain to me how it is in the strongest position its ever been, this time five years ago summervill played pike up in the pike field when pike were top and summervil were 2nd!!!pike won one nil and summervil finished fourth in premier that year, fast forward 5 years and ye'r third in 1a wit have the club refusing to play under the current management, thus why their playing wit b team, dont give me that bull story about how they grew up together,if u believe that then you know very little about your club!they would all be still playing if the current management weren't in place!! So to say the club is in its strongest ever position is just laughable,if you genuinely believe that well then you haven't a clue![/quote]
you seem to know alot about a clubs history five years ago when they played pike they were second and went on to finish 4th for a guy who never played for them,
facts are facts teams get relegated, it happens, new managers come in and people have to accept that and if they cant its their decision who they play for and i think it shows great loyalty to the club that these guys still play for the B team and i can guarantee you that there is a better chance of them comming back to the A team when their still involved with the club. The club they grew up with. And all that work previously mentioned by a poster is ongoing and portland park is a differemt place than it was 5 years ago no more green containers and meetings in bobby byrnes
guys take the summerville slaggin to PM if you need to persist. this is getting boring...:(
sorry if its boring u just dont read it purcell
anyone know if any of the teams in our division have signed or lost players yet in transfer window...the transfer window thread seems to be all premier
Paul Franklin has rejoined Prospect from Boro B

we've come a long way in a year. This time last year we were in serious trouble wit players leaving the club. We were in a relegation battle that we scraped thru wit 11 and 12 players turning up for games...now we're attracting good players who can improve us and hopefully push us on to promotion...huge game for us sunday morning
