Good finish by Finnan to rescue something but his reaction summed the whole game up. Jim Belgin was spot on when he said that the whole performance was a "disjointed mess". I was willing to give Stan until the end of the campaign to prove himself and thought that there was some sort of hope after Saturday but now he has to go. The players only got their fingers out after Cyprus scored and were probably spurred on by the embarrassment of losing to such a poor team and as soon as they did we scored within a few minutes. So of course the "the players are to blame" "we haven't got the squad" excuses will be splurted out from Stan's supporters but there can't be many of those left after that shambles .. can there? Yes the players were poor tonight but I think Stan is the main source of the problem, if they have a clueless international manager when they are used to working in a professionaly run well structured team on a weekly basis you can't help but be a little disillusioned.:o
