Bearing in mind most of my friends are female......
Heroes
Grey's anatomy
One Tree Hill
Private Practice
MNS....but they ignore this one :( :D
Have gotten into this through living with the girlfriend, not a bad show at all if you can get over the ridiculous medical conditions their patients seem to have every episode and the obvious storyline rip offs from Scrubs that pop up every now and again.
I would even go so far and say I have a favourite character in Preston Burke :)
Agree 110%, fantastic series, really well shot and great acting (esp. when most of the cast were unknown)... A great mini-series
Oz is great, horrific in it's violence - almost too disgusting to watch at times - but compelling viewing for it's drama. One thing's for sure, I'd do what Ken Lay did at the prospect of spending federal time in the US if Oz is anything to go by.
I saw that too, I can't remember the guy's name, but it was tragic viewing, espcially when he was camcordering the break down of his marridge and his relationship with his children. Heart warming at the end when he was giving the colledge speech at the end telling everyone of the dangers of addiction but that no matter how low you go, it's never too late to turn it around.
A friend recently recommend this to me,if you have a few mins and want a laugh go to Jonahs section

First episode of The Wire up to the usual standard. The opening sequence was very funny.
I think it's probably nearly over, but really enjoying The Visit on BBC1. Managed to miss it on BBC3...
Just finished season 1 of Rome, not as good as The Wire Oz or Sopranos but still a very good show. Something about HBO all there show are great
Got flight of the concords on dvd recently flipping brilliant my new favourite show.
Anyone ever seen any of The Venture Brothers?
Anyone see "A Dander with Drennan" on BBC2 on the weekends, sorry i cant remeber what night its on, but jeez its just plain weird
its about Ulster Scots culture, and this guy Drennan (who is clearly as mad as a hatter) wandering all over Antrim and the like meeting the other irish we dont talk about!!
Its very good, if you can decipher what the hell they are talking about
Flip him the bird !! whats that it doesnt even look like a bird here this is a bird its got wings yours looks like a little sick bird.
saw a clip of a film with Jermaine in it called eagle verses shark i must get a look at over the weekend looks good
Arrested Dev is good aswell
Anyone seen Carinvale? I ordered it yesterday
Dexter is utterly addictive and on dvd. Entourage (Let's hug it out!), The Shield are both class shows and the new HBO series True Blood appears to be off to a good start.
I thought HBO was at its best with Rome, Oz, Deadwood and the Sopranos, Rome being my top favorite.
Just finished watching Season 1 of "Terminator-The Sarah Connor Chronicles". Would call it a good TV series but nothing special.
Season 3 of Battlestar Galactica next
I've only just got into Fonejacker. very funny stuff. Not just a phone prank call show, the visuals are fantastic too.
Anyone know if and when Generation Kill will be avialble on DVD?
Lead Balloon returned last thur - 23.20 on BBC2 NI

Just watched Season 1 of Dexter , It's brilliant
I'll raise your 2 as I am watching series 3 now. ;)
3rd series is the first one not based on the books. Jimmy Smit has been added as new character. So far so good.
One of my favourite shows & surprised not shown on Irish TV. ITV was also a strange choice for UK terrestrial TV.
