My pal goes to all the Seattle Sounders games. They were only formed in the last couple of years. The enthusiasm of the fans at the games is incredible, it is evident even from the highlights which he makes available for me; here's the highlights from the Whitecaps game:

Note the tricolour in the stand on the left of the screen. My pal reckons it was for Cillian! That's not you standing behind it, is it Irishfan86????
Not a bad shout regarding it being for Cillian, but he never played a formal league match with the team as he was only on trial.
Would proudly stand behind it Paddy but I'm up in the press box with the rest of the journalists (I write for MLSsoccer.com).
Aww man, wanna swap jobs?
It appears to me that MLS is doing really well although having viewed the footage of Sounders away games, other teams don't seem to be so well supported. I've witnessed some great goals and some terrible defending!
Jaysus, I sound like Alan Hansen...
Yeah it varies around the league. I cover the Vancouver Whitecaps and they average over 19,000 a match. They're moving into a beautiful new stadium later this season in a more central location so I think that will add another 5,000 or so to the average by next season.
Got 2 goals today as St Johnstone beat Hearts. Great to see.
He's hit and miss. Some days he looks good the next he couldn't trap a bag of cement.
nicked a late one away at easter road. st. johnstone might be about his level i'm afraid, but you never know.
Saw him on Sportscene in his Christmas jumper ;)

He's out with a hamstring tear, said he'd be back in probably 2-3 weeks.

1:15 Sheridan with a cheeky flick to set up third goal.
3:40 Sheridan with a cracking first-time left footed finish.
APOEL win 8-1 against Anorthosis.
Elsewhere across Europe, Barry Maguire's Den Bosch lose out in the Eredivisie Playoff. Another season in the 2nd tier awaits him.
Patrick Kohlmann scored in his final game for Union Berlin ahead of his release.
Robbie Keane scored for LA Galaxy.

Wins the league for APOEL in Cyprus

On head to heads, after finishing level on points... not bad. Pity it was played behind closed doors.
APOEL have come from 2 goals down to draw level against HJK Helsinki in the Champions League. Sheridan netted their equalising goal.
Was only following the score but looks like the turning point was a red card for HJK when they were seemingly cruising. With two away goals in hand, they should progress from the home leg. It's mad to think Cyprus get two qualifying spots for the Champions League and Scotland only get one.
If Connor Sammon is getting in the squad surely Sheridan wouldn't be too far away...
Another Champions League goal for Sheridan this evening. HJK need two to qualify now.
2-0 now, so they'll need two just to force extra time.
Sheridan involved in the move that led to the penalty too.

Interview with Sheridan.
Surely he is living proof that more high/er profile Irish players should try their luck abroad. League win, cup win, fan adulation, regular European football, high standard of life.
He's done well for himself, but I'm not sure there's much security in Cypriot football outside of APOEL. Have read stories of players being paid with cash in envelopes on arrival and a few weeks later the money drying up.
AaB v APOEL in final playoff round. First leg in Denmark.
Obviously. As much as we are missing Liam Miller, Andy Keogh, Joe Gamble and Andy O'Brien.
Did Sheridan play in the away leg? did he score in the 1-1 draw?
