Can imagine Stevens slotting in quite well at Rovers, though it's not exactly the injection of fresh legs into their backline that some have been calling for.
Enda Stevens will be competing for LWB position with Victor Ozhianvuna, assuming Josh goes as well as Trevor Clarke and Sean Kavanagh, and will provide cover at LCB. Makes sense in that context to have both experience and youth in one position.Quote:

Yeah id say its a case of a bit of both, no one prepared to pay all his wages and the club not seeing much point in having to partially pay him to play for someone else when Mandroiu is out.
Either way ill be glad to see him back and hopefully he will play well considering he only has one year left and needs a new contract from someone at the end of the season.
I hope he takes the high road rather than turning into one of these guys jumping around crap clubs for a payday
