Abbey vs Salthill in semi final this sunday in Salthill. Abbey to win
When is the Castlebar/Renmore match on?
Abbey V Celtic final on the cards without a doubt, barring any more tomfoolery with appeals. Could be very close.
what was the score between castlebar celtic and b'sloe
Senior Council meet this eveing at 5o clock to discuss the appeal between Celtic and Arrow any info how it went
I am sure there jittery people in both camps.
Looks like Celtic will be best remembered for winning appeals rather than winning a cup
we can now comfirm that there appeal has won and they now face Renmore providing Arrow Harps dont go to the courts which I sugest is doubtful.
Noel Kenedy in his part will be licking his wounds and wonder what his next step
He will argue that he is an elected by the clubs and his version of the rules is the correct one.however senior council seem to moved the goal post who at one time agreed with Noel and went against there own advice.
Once again I ask does the F.AI.left hand knows whats its right hand doing.
Doubt it does.
However I would like to make clear I personally never agreed with Noels opinion of the rule. but one must respect his knowledge and experince of the rules.
Let hope for all involved that we can put this matter behind us and learn that we all have opinion even if we don't agree.
Thank God the charade is over!!:ball:
We all agree until the next chapter?Quote:

Was Dykes not with Abbey before he came to Celtic? Could be an interesting final IF they beat Renmore on Sunday!
Correct and right.
dont forget Ballinasloe Town!!!!Quote:

Surly Mr Dykes is under pressurer to win and to deliver siver wear from outside of the county.
fingers will be pointed at him if he fails by those who have doubts of his leadership within the Celtic camp
Celtic v Ballinsloe Town in semi which i think is on next sunday
Ya heard that today as B team game again cancelled due to this bull with B team players been eligible for A team or something. It is the Mayo league who are calling the games off. But yes I hear that game is on next Sunday.
The final is now fixed for the 4th of june in Mc Sharry park Sligo!
Ithink you are refering to Celtic B, they are intitled to be off due to the fact thats dykesy can call on what players he may avail of.Quote:

thats life.
At the game sunday, by all acounts it was poor also poor following from the locals of Castlebar.
This is some thing Celtic need to get to grips with.
there were one or two unsavory moments at Celtic park by surporters of Celtic could do with out.
Back to the match renmore throw away 2 goal lead one man sent off
as for celtic, love to been in there dressing room at half time, what ever was said certainly change by the time they came out.
while again the play was poor they did score 3 good goals and that sums up the match.
I would say Henry Loughlane didn't learn to much, must be quitely confident
You certainly know your stuffQuote:

Celtic should have enough to beat them, after losing junior cup semi the lads are gunning for this.Quote:

i think Ballinasloe will win but it be tight 1-0
well bsloe, didnt do much this year in the north roscommon and district league, the celtic did the double there and were beaten by the celtic also. i would still say bsloe will win it, and will win it outright.
the two better teams in teh north roscommon and district ( celtic and bsloe ) would be better than castlebar celtic. the celtic beat castlebar the last time they played in the cup. the year bsloe went onto win it.
well this appeared to be tough game for Celtic but in the end they came though on Peno 4-2 to be fair to Bslo they had enough of chances but failed to find the net.
Good Luck to Celtic in the Final.
this won't be easy final for them Abbey won't take this lying down.
Yes Connacht Cup Final on next Sunday;
Abbey Utd v Castlebar Celtic
best of luck to celtic in final
Ditto.Quote:

are any of ye coming to Sligo for it?
What time and where?
I was schooled in Sligo so I may pop back for a look and to see this Abbey team. Hope they win it.
Best of luck to Abbey tomorrow.Iv been at every Abbey game this season but tomorrow i have to go to Dublin so p*i*s*s*e*d off.The key is to keep Carty and Chris Kelly quite for Castlebar.Glen Shannon and Garth Kelly will be a really hand full for castlebar back four.
