Only cup tied if you get game time afaik
Has there been any fall out after the Mossie?
A lot more restrictions around who will be allowed sit on the bench and be pitch-side for any cup finals. Which should only be the case anyway!
That’s all well and good but cup finals are big days out and clubs should allow all their panel be fully involved on such a big occasion.
Two clubs poor behaviour shouldn’t ruin it for the rest.
By all means punish the offending clubs but not the rest who have done nothing wrong
Yes probably harsh on the clubs who have big panels but should only be the 18 on the card allowed sit on the bench for finals. Let the rest in the stand beside them.
I completely agree, the Cross is and should be something for a player to remember . There are no winners from that game .
And I can understand the 18 only if this was a professional semi pro finals.
But these are big days out for the clubs and the players who could have been trying for years to get to the cross.
Every player pays their membership can stand on the line every other game with his teammates but not for the biggest day of the season.
If you have to pick between mick and John. You can be sure whoever gets sent to the stand will be upset so much so you could see a lad packing it in all because two other clubs couldn’t behave themselves.
Totally unfair.
100% agree.
You can imagine a player being sad and angry in that case. There would be a real risk of losing them. And, selecting a squad probably would have a player or two on bench "just in case" over the weaker ones always there.
If it was possible, I'd take a fine if needed, leave everyone warm up and then the lads can mix and mash on the dugout/stand.
Remember been involved few years ago and had to name the 16 players and everyone else had to sit in the stand only manager and 2 coach’s in the dug out too. 1 manager was left stand at a time and subs could only warm up behind the lines man. Seems to have been relaxed to allow a day out for all but when things like this happen you can see why they have strict rules.
Champions league finals have 23 I think these days taught aul or fai might bring this in. After this I don’t think we will see it anytime soon.
How do people see the leagues turning out?
Premier - Good to see no pullouts. Coachford & Grattan games be crucial but I can't see Coachford dropping too many points outside those games to win it.
Premier A - UCC and Grangevale unbeaten. A lot of games to go here. It seems like Killumney have had a bad spell and may have too much to do and rely on at this stage.
1 - Cathedral motering on. John Corcoran banging them in. It seems getting games played in Mayfield has helped momentum.
2. Shandon and Blackstone and interesting battle. Two very experienced north side teams going at it. Hard to call.
3. Again, plenty going on here. Are Watergrasshill still with their GAA players? Their cup results were phenominal. Could come down to games between top 3 sides. I doubt they will drop many ther points while still in it.

Presume the weather will take a lot of games this weekend but might try to head over to Blackstone v Shandon tomorrow if it goes ahead. Whoever wins you’d imagine are as good as up. Shandon probably in better form but it should be a cracker.
Saxone Cup final this Sunday Los Zarcos v Boscos and Presidents Cup final Coachford v Rathcormac next Thursday evening. Best of luck to all 4 teams and enjoy the occasion of a cup final in the Cross. I see midweek games are back from Tuesday week too which is great to see!
Saxone Cup final off tomorrow. Was at the City game last night and pitch didn’t seem so bad after the game, definitely capable of holding another game. Are the AUL in the Munster FA’s bad books now after the f Coachford/Grattan fiasco?
Well done to Rathcormac tonight, sounded like a cracker.
Looks like the top 2 in division 2 isn’t as much of a foregone conclusion as we all thought. What a result that is for Loz Zarcos.
Shandon will be delighted.
Blackstones first league defeat of the season but they are probably in a better place than they should be in the table they have won an awful lot of games by just the 1 goal a few of those go the wrong way and they would be well down.
They still are in a great position not many games to play and a lot of points on the board
Lads any dates set for the Saxone & Presidents Cup?
Saxone Cup was cancelled as city played the Friday night before the game due on Sunday.
The presidents cup was on the following week assumed that was cancelled aswell
Rathcormac beat Coachford in the Presidents Cup. No date yet for the Saxone Cup.
Saxone Cup Final Sunday April 30th
Cheers is it on at the Cross ?
Sunday week at 3pm according to AUL website. Should be a good game, both teams look to be in good form.
I see there’s guaranteed to be a Division 3 team in the AOH final. That’s some achievement, has it ever been done before?
Yes on in the cross
Huge game Thursday night when blackstone and shandon play. Winner will really fancy themselves to go on and win the league. Although los zarcos will have a say.
Laughing stock as a league .
Slip up by Los Zarcos last night, probably have on eye on Sunday to be fair to them.
I believe they also have an eye on the league and tried their hardest to beat bweeng. Bweeng ran blackstone close twice early in the season and knocked shandon out of the league cup so on their day they can give teams a game. There will be some amount of games on over the next few weeks to try and get the season wrapped up. A lot of teams struggling for numbers by the sounds of it.
Best of luck to both teams at the Cross tomorrow afternoon, enjoy ye’re day out and continued success to whoever comes out on top. Two good stalwarts of the AUL.
Just saw the poorest ref display by a ref coachford just about deserved the win but they had to work for it Hennessy was so poor ..not fit and struggled to keep up everything went to the premier side ..Niall has built some side at cathedral good football and a very honest side ..
I really hope someone from the Aul checks this forum an reads these posts.
Yesterday's carry on,,,,, never ever heard of anything like that,,,,,ever.
And to condone the matter by letting the carry on today go unchecked.
It's actually an embarrassment to be in this league .
Fair dues for everyone who keeps going,,,,,the shipping league an the MSL will giggle and enjoy their pints tonite ,,,,, another weekend of Faulty Towers comes to a close , roll on next week's madness.
