Not a H & S issue afaik.
Demolition of connacht street side opens up the possibility of a temporary stand .Not sure how feasible that is though, as it is unclear how long it could be used.

Dalymount redevelopment is probably 3 or 4 years away at least.
A temp stand would pay for itself youd imagine in that time frame.

Dundalks opponents in Covid trouble before the game next week….
Dundalks good luck in Europe in recent years continues apace it seems.
May well only run out when they don't qualify next season.
In terms of the country co-efficient Dundalk getting home and away wins in their first tie will be crucial to racking up some much needed points. If they can't put away a weak and weakened Welsh team the leagues ranking is likely going to come tumbling down to 45+
Will there be covid tests carried out at the Bohs match. There was at the gig in kilmainham the other day.
2 Sligo players missing due to covid now as well, hopefully the Irish sides don't get hampered with covid trouble....
John Mahon will be one of them. Typical as we’ve done quite well in that regard up to when we play in Europe.
Temperature check going into Dalymount on Friday.
Went to the Kilmainham on Saturday gig and got the antigen test , multiple checks on the app to check check that your result was normal ( got result within 45 minutes). It would really make sense to do something similar for the Aviva game
From knowing one or two friends with C19 pre Delta, I have been told of five people I know contracting it in recent days, the more testing that goes on at organised events, the better.
It would be surprising if they didn't preform checks on a crowd of 6K with how delicately things are balanced. It would show that there is only a ad hoc approach to these test pilot events by the Minister for Sport, Tourism etc and no set standards in place.
Will any of these games be on TV?
There is a stream for €8 on the rovers website for the away leg
16 euro for Sligos stream,it’s not their fault but that’s pretty steep…..
€10 for Bohs stream ,home and away
Won’t have too many neutrals watching either away or home leg
Interesting to see Sligo and Bohs playing in (effectively) the same city on Thursday. UEFA rules wouldn't normally allow that, but I guess as there's no away fans allowed, it's less of an issue.
Wonder did Bohs/Sligo save any money pooling together for the same flight?
Funny though!
I can see a flotilla of Tim Severin-style currachs plying their old haunts. Good cardio for the players too :)
Bohs or Sligo Thurs .... decisions decisions ....

1000 allowed into The Showgrounds next week and 1500 into Tallaght
Why, does it cover Cup games? :p
Now thats just badness :D
On tonight's match i will be off home early to watch it but im not hopeful.
With the exception of the match against Dundalk we have been bang average for the last couple of months and we are up against a strong team.
Be nice to keep it alive at least for the second leg as i will get in as a member but i fear the worst.
Massive if we could do it as it gives us 3 more guaranteed rounds and if we win one of them we get group stages but that just makes it worse that our form has deserted us at the worst moment.
On a separate note, there were wins for Finnish and Maltese sides last night, so the LoI has dropped to 48th in the UEFA standings.
Slightly surprised to see Iceland in 52nd, so should be targetting maybe 0.625 (ie two wins, a draw and a defeat) from Bohs/Sligo.
Some of the countries we're behind - eg the Faroes, the North, Kosovo - have benefitted from being in preliminary rounds that the LoI got a bye through, so while 48th doesn't necessarily reflect our standing in Europe, it is still pretty bad. There is no preliminary round in the Conference League, so we at least shouldn't drop any lower, and the threat of dropping into that preliminary round is gone too.
