Yes something along those lines the game took place as I understand it in late November 1921. The League clubs didn't enter the Cup until January 1922.Quote:

CTID, can you do me a favour, if you get the chance? I need to know the years Barry Ryan, Anto Murphy and Kevin Grogan played for you and their aggregate league appearances (and goals if any). No hassle if you can't. Apologies if its in the thread and I'm too lazy to search
You can find details on www.stigonline.com - downloadable appearances chart in Excel.
Anto played in 2004 and 2005. Bazza played from 1997 to 2003 (I think). Kev played from 2000 to 2002.
Is that league appearances only?
Not sure how it downloads, but if you save it as an Excel file, open it and then print preview (or print), there's a header showing the competitions. I think tabs are in the order - total appearances, league appearances, FAI Cup, League Cup, Leinster Senior Cup, Europe, other.
Ah FFS didn't see the tabs (and I work with spreadsheets pretty much all day!)
Thanks stu. Just one thing. The header says as at 01/01/05. Any chance of Anto's appearances and goals from 05 season
Columns on the left are at 01/01/05. The next two columns include the 2005 season.
I'm so embarressed (sic)
Seeing as we are taking a break from League action for a couple of weeks here's the lads combined League appearances for UCD up to the end of Round 20 of the current League season which is 2/3 through the League campaign following the demise of Dublin City ( formerly Home Farm Fingal).

Our goal shy tendencies are legendary.
Not only have we kept 12 clean sheets in the League,College have failed to score on 16 occasions this season in the League.
Compare and contrast the away record for the past two seasons
We must be the only team to score 6 fewer goals away from home and pick up extra points this season :DCode:P W D L GF GA PTS GD PERCENTAGE POINTS
2005 17 3 5 9 11 20 14 -9 27.451%
2006 14 3 5 6 5 14 15 -9 35.7143%
Our Aggregate away record now looks like this
Code:PLAYED WON DREW LOST GOALS FOR AGAINST POINTS GOAL DIFFERENCE POINTS GAINED
412 115 124 173 389 520 434 -131 39.8531%
In spite of less games we've heavily slashed our goals conceded column and we haven't scored that much less goals than last season, again number of games taken into account.
Next Friday's game against Longford Town will be our 412th Home game and may well be our last at Belfield Park.
The Record currently looks like this (League only)
So for UCD there is a slight home advantage.Code:PLAYED WON DREW LOST GOALS FOR AGAINST POINTS GOAL DIFFERENCE POINTS GAINED
411 157 120 134 553 470 530 83 49.34823%
Word around the grapevine is we could start off next season at Belfield Park.
On the goals issue, what's half of nothing?;)
Does anyone know where to get season by season stats(League Only) from UCD players past and present, as I want to update some players from UCD on a site that I am working with at the moment as I am missing a lot of stats from UCD players.
Thanks in advance.
CollegeTillIDie would have that information I'd say.
There's a certain amount of it on Stigonline: http://stigonline.com/ucd/appearances.xls
Only up to the end of last season, I think. Pineapple Stu would have more up to date info if you need it.
Actually, if you get more data than is in that (particularly older stuff), could you let him know?
That looks great but I am looking more for each season in particular rather than all of the appearances at once.
Schumi do you not have the info in the programmes? Just look up the last programme of the season if you still have them?
The aggregate home record now looks like this
PLAYED 412 WON 158 DREW 120 LOST 134 GOALS FOR 556 AGAINST 471
AGGREGATE LEAGUE POINTS 553 GOAL DIFFERENCE +85 49.62756% SUCCESS
TOTAL LEAGUE RECORD NOW LOOKS LIKE THIS
PLAYED 824 WON 273 DREW 244 LOST 306 GOALS FOR 945 AGAINST 990
AGGREGATE POINTS 967 AGGREGATE GOAL DIFFERENCE -45
SO TARGETS WE EITHER WILL OR MAY REACH NEXT SEASON ARE
850TH LEAGUE GAME PLAYED
275TH LEAGUE VICTORY
250TH LEAGUE DRAW
1000TH GOAL CONCEDED
1000TH LEAGUE POINT ACHIEVED
Could someone give me the dates these players were at UCD please?
Mick O'Byrne
Éamonn McLoughlin
Darren O'Brien
Robbie Martin
Paul Cullen
Ken O'Doherty
I think Robbie Martin signed for the play-off season, 2000/1, and left last year.
