It's deadstock that they're trying to shift. They also have sponsor-less Rovers Warrior jerseys. Obviously bought a load of old gear from Toplion/JACC and it's easy to sell green 'Shamrock' and blue 'Dublin' stuff in Carrolls.

Good result for Galway tonight. You're not wrong. We had a lot of possession but didn't really do enough with it. Your keeper made a couple of good saves, we had one off the post and one cleared off the line, and a good few corners, but just weren't good enough to score. The red card for Harps after half an hour pretty much ended them as an attacking force, and they just sat back and let us pass it round in front of them, not doing any real damage. Once we scored they never looked like coming back into it though.
A lot more bothered about losing McAleer for 3 games than actually getting knocked out of the cup, opinions from those who were at it ...was it stupidity from McAleer or was it Buttimer being Buttimer?
Ball over the top, O'Connor got between McAleer and the ball to block his run and allow the ball through to the keeper...the usual shouldering/jostling between defender and attacker, then O'Connor is on the ground. Ref gave the red instantly, McAleer made no protest, just turned and walked off - I am guessing he kicked out at him after I took my eyes off them.Quote:
