Big upset in silverheights today village lost 2-1. Village were probably on top but the grit and determination got greenwood over the line. Personally thought village would hit them for 4 or 5
I was at the game and greenwood were the better team went 1 down after 20mins playing up the hill and playing the better football unlucky there, put the pressure back on village and got there rewards with a great free kick on35mins. second half greenwood playing down the hill were solid at the back village had there time in the game but greenwood soaked it up and went on and scored on about 75 mins well deserved win for greenwood

As part of the release of the New Coach Education Pathway we are introducing coaching courses based on the following three key areas:
1: Reality Based Learning – Where coaches can enter the pathway now at the age specific / level they are working.*
2: Competency Model, in which every course now has specific entry and exit competencies which will see the programs delivered in a more holistic approach and the move away for the ethos of final assessments.*

With this in mind the New Adult Intro (Coaches currently working in the adult game);*New Youth Intro (Coaches working within the Youth Game; New National D Licence (Replaced the old youth certificate) and the National Goalkeeping D Licence are being released for their first ever delivery in Cork in January as part of a Coach Education Festival of Football which will see the following courses taking place that weekend:
For your convenience I have explained each of the courses, their entry requirements, and their costs which I would appreciate your support in getting coaches working within the adult and youth game in Cork engaging with these programs and entering the formal coach education pathway. Its a joke. Knocknaheeny have 1 game played in premier a. They should have some sort of structure to prevent this from happening. Theyll probably be put down for an away game up in the city on a weeknight. It shouldnt be happening

It's a complete joke, they end up playing games towards the latter end up the league against teams with nothing to play for and with under strength teams. I think we would all agree the mossie should be pushed back a bit to accommodate a certain amount of league games. Can't imagine that any other league would have a team with no league games played by January!
Play the mossie as a knockout competition. Teams might take it more seriously then.

Looking at the weekend results is that every Cork AUL team out of the MJC other than Grattin who were playing another Cork AUL team?? No teams doing well in FAI anymore , no OT team . It appears the AUL is in the middle of a big dip . What is going on at the Street? Beaten heavily the last few weeks
