The follow up to Set The FAI Alight is it?
Irish Rail have put on third 1,100 capacity train from Dundalk to the Aviva stadium.
With fans struggling to get transport to the Aviva and tickets continuing to sell strongly , Irish Rail have stepped up.

Thats incredible in fairness.
is it just me or does there seem to be a lot more buzz around this final then there has been for a while, or is it just because my own club is involved and I'm paying more attention to it?
If IÉ were smart about it, they'd use a spare 'normal' train, or even the Enterprise, and make a few quid from the bar.
It's the two best teams in the country at present, which does help. But I'd say it's likely to be more due to the fact ye's are playing in it.Quote:

However, the efforts of the FAI to market the game at the wider sporting public, and particularly junior/schoolboy players is very poor.
The FAI should start advertising / selling tickets in June / July regardless of who is in the Final - The big day out type marketing has worked very well in rugby - I reckon a properly marketed final with some other perhaps musical type entertainment could attract 40,000 if the FAI gave it a proper lash.
When we won the first division in 2011, Dave McKeon was the ref. He also was the ref when we beat Longford to win the cup in 2007. He is the man in charge on Sunday also, an omen perhaps?
The cover of the 12 page pullout in this week's Dundalk Democrat.

As if the appetite for cup football needs whetting this weekend, the FA Cup match on tonight on BBC was thoroughly enjoyable with Salford winning their 8th cup tie to be in the draw for the 2nd round - on the down side and putting things in some perspective for ourselves prize money wise its worth about £800k to them with the TV coverage and still in the competition. That and listening to the play-off is winding up nicely for Sunday!
Dont fancy anything like the end of the play-off on Sunday though, nice wee win after 90 minutes thanks very much!
Wouldn't say no to a last minute winner though. Graham Cummins will be in the crowd, he knows a thing or two about late goals
Plenty of guys in Dundalk colours that know about late goals and they wont be in the crowd! ;)
Tempted to turn up for this as a neutral. Will there be half and half scarves on sale? I just want a good clean game and everyone to shake hands afterwards.
Whatever it takes if fine with me! Maybe Corks Naivety is the reason is the reason for being runners-up to Dundalk soon to be 3 times in 2 years hmmmmmm?
As much as Dundalk will start as favs (2/5 odds to lift the cup), anything could happen as its a one off game. I think we won most games in 2015 where we scored first, Cork at home in July was an exception, but I still think the first goal will be crucial tomorrow.
I think the wide spaces will really suit us, especially Horgan on the left and whoever gets the nod on the right, I'm expecting Meenan to start over Mountney. Key battle though will be in the centre, Towell should dominate, not sure yet if O'Donnell is fit, Shields will step in if he misses out, however we really need a big game from Ronan Finn tomorrow, he can be superb and is very good most week, but he can also be very quiet in certain games. I think Mark O'Sullivan will be the key man for Cork tomorrow, he's one that has caused up problems in the past.
I think the prize money is still €50k for the winners? anyone know what it is for the runners up?
Can't wait for tomorrow. It's going to be some occasion for both Dundalk and Cork
I will be bringing my nephew to his first cup final tomorrow! it will be a dress rehearsal for the Ireland match in Aviva! I think this game will go to extra time as Cork want to win somethin!
Reminds me of Christmas Eve as a kid.
Two clubs with big support turning up at Ireland's top sporting venue.
I remember going to the Sligo/Rovers final a few years ago, thinking wouldn't it be great if Dundalk could get to the final one day. Back then, it seemed so far away.
Well, that day is tomorrow.
Can't go to this game tomorrow which is a pity as recent finals have been very enjoyable for a neutral, great value for a tenner.
Would an "up for the match" programme on tv add to the attendance I wonder? People may recall that Shay Healy did a pilot/sample programme for Sky before an FA cup final once. However it was more of a Nighthawks formula rather than the GAA programme.
The FAI social twitter page has a lot more stuff about the final this year than it has in previous years. Good to see them do that.
Going to go with Cork to win on penos.
I reckon Dundalk to win final and have the biggest following and plus an attendance of over 25,000.
Sleepless night by the looks of it.
Mon the town!
