Honestly speaking i personally wish they join soon for the pre-season... Almost about ending a second week of pre-season training and still no sign. We need updates on them.

Jason Hughes re-signs.
Good to hear...i think he is a great player!!!
Confirmed on limerickfc.ie with an interview with Hughes. Also a short interview with Taylor.
Shane Tracy re-signs.
Excellent news. Good defender, great at set-pieces. Some decent continuity between last and next season in the squad.
hardly a surprise tracy has resigned, but good news all the same ,quality player and a local lad too.
Tracy, Duggan, Rainsford and Hughes. All local lads that will be playing at some stage in the middle of the park for us which is great.
More good news today as Patrick Nzuzi re-signs two very important signings in the last 2 days. I reckon another 2 players and we could have a very decent squad (O'Leary and a Striker).
Mike Ahern said this morning one more signing for Limerick and that's it.
Would have thought there might have been a few loanees from Britain.
It seems that Dave came back over weight and the club are waiting to see if he can get back to match fitness before offering him a contract.
Dave would hae been offered a contract before the end of his last one otherwise he could have gone anywhere as a free agent without compensation having to be paid.
Once the club make/made him a contract offer similar or higher than his previous contract within a certain time frame then they are entitled to compensation. If no one is willing to pay compensation then I take it he can re-sign with us or go amateur and play junior soccer.
That's good, I thought a situation like Griffin to Derry could happen. And it takes us a season of arguing to get compensation for him. One side needs to back down anyway, because we'd be leaving it very late to replace someone of his quality. I don't really fancy a midfield 3 of Duggan, Rainsford and Hughes. (Not bad players by any means, but a lot of responsibility on Rainsford there)
I think cork have backed down. It would be too expensive even with arbitration because O'Leary has been with us since 17. Cork also have enough midfielders and good young players coming through to not have to spend on compensation.
Nzuzi was saying in an interview when he signed back that he was hoping to play in midfield this season (he qualified that he'd play wherever he was expected to too which was good of him).
Like you I'd be surprised to see the Right to Dream lads showing up at this stage.
Heard that Shane Clarke was interested in coming back to play for Limerick but S. Taylor never contacted him. Must not be interested in him or see him as part of his plans. Pity cos he's a local lad and would have been no harm in bringing him up pre season training to get a good look at him and see how he'd fit in.
He's a striker with a good eye for goal and the squad isnt overflowing with strikers!
Would like to have seen Clarke get a crack at it but it seems between Cork and Limerick they have just decided to not take a gamble on him for whatever reasons.
Trialist playing tomorrow night against Galway according to the Limerick FC Facebook and Twitter accounts.
Yeah pity about Clarke, he could have been a good signing especially since no fees involved!! you'd think he be as good as the other strikers there as well?
Any idea who is the trialist is?
All i heard is he's from overseas.
No idea who the trialist is. It's a striker anyway as far as I know.
Name was on the teamsheet, but scribbled out and 'Trialist' put down instead. Can't make out what was there from the photo.
Reported as being Deqwon Ebanks by a few people: http://www.footballdatabase.eu/footb...201789.en.html
If it is that guy, in the last year he has played with Tamworth, Daventry Town & Kettering Town. Not the standard of player I thought we'd be going for.
Another Aaron Brown on the cards, playing 2/3 games with a tonne of different sides down in the conference or lower.
I wouldn't think he'll be signing anyway.
Shane Duggan is captain for the coming season. Craig Curran is vice captain.
shane clarke was with limerick before and never did much.he is very tempremental and wouldnt be an asset to the team, more of a liability.as is the squad still needs a few more players and on paper hasnt really improved since last season.
